My point is that the video reeks of vendetta than actual seeking for justice.

The main character driving the so-called confession is the wife who is busy pushing narratives into the mouth of both the victim and the offender. There's a cause for her to do this which is the man's philanderering ways. It seems from a logical point of view that she just wants to put the man away and not after any justice or morality.

In the first place, I'm amazed you can insist that she'll prefer the health of her maid over hers. But besides that, does she not bear responsibility to her fellow women if she's been infected multiple times and she never exposed the husband? Do you imagine innocent women he's infected with so the attendant risks and they never realise he was the cause of their troubles?

I can confidently wager that she did not expose him then since there's no punishment for infecting a spouse in our laws and is happy to "expose" him now because of the legal implications involved. No one can convince me that all she's after is justice for the supposed victim. She's even leading the girl on in the video.

Juxtapose this and let it happen in the north where the age of consent is below 13 and you'll not hear even a whimper from the woman.

The video is a hoax. She's done with the guy and is now looking to make life hell for him. Girls like her who marry deadbeat guys usually threaten to destroy such guys if she's done with him.

A more important fact to notice is that the timeline is changing. In the video, the claim is that the thing has been going on for over a year, specifically 2023 since the video was shot in 2024 while in the statement she released, she is now saying 6 months which means it only happened in 2024.

It's good the sexual offences agency is now involved. If it is eventually proven that the guy molested the girl in question regardless of her age, then he should be made to face the music. Rape is a reprehensible act and pedophilia is much worse but I'll not allow myself to be driven by those who use it as vendetta given society's stand on it.

The last woman who tried this had the case thrown out. It eventually emerged she was just a bitter wife looking to take her doctor husband down for his philanderering ways. She was first hailed as a strong and principled woman at the start of the much celebrated case.

I'm telling you guys that the video can't be material proof cause the wife made herself the subject of the video and not the victim. She's a hurt party. She can't be a credible witness just as the Appeal Court held in Olaleye's case.
If she were really out to get justice, the right thing for her is to encourage the victim and her mother to report the case to the police or the sexual offence agency along with those other witnesses she claims exist. She can be a material witness but definitely not a primary witness as her evidence can be easily overruled.

A lot of you are getting caught up in emotions. All the man has to claim for example is that she threatened to hurt him if he didn't follow her lead in the videos and they become dead. In other words, in your perfect psychological state of mind, if a man is infecting you with multiple STDs, you'll be like, it's alright if this guy keeps giving me STDs that can lead to cancer and my eventual death as long as he doesn't molest minors. It is simple psychology that self-preservation is a basic human instinct but in this case you're telling me that you prefer to die from STDs than see a philanderering husband molest a minor even when the husband is fully dependent on you.
