samuel1981:Switch to train where possible The billions of Naira to be made in the Lagos transportation business, government just need to make use of the opportunity, you don’t even need any illegal tax to make money in Lagos, just establish a good train system, simply copy London template, build the train round the state, not every state have the potential for this, Lagos population is a huge advantage This can also be used to monitor the people and improve security as you can always check people movement routines It will benefit the state a lot

When I asked one citing that fuel is now cheaper and Tfare should drop, he said other components like spare parts and tax levy are not dropping. So we should not expect any fare reductions anytime soon. |

What I'm pissed off about is the Lagos BRT system. Once it was a Pinnacle of intra City movement..buses were available, with AC and WiFi. The government of the day falled to develop on that system.. Maintenance was zero. There more broken down brt buses than active ones on the road. Even the operators of the franchise..most of their buses have become so rickety..just like Molue of old. Go-to Oshodi at nighttime..you'll see thousands of commuters waiting for the few brt buses still operating....same in Agric, Sabo, Fadeyi etc . It's a shame how we run systems in this country.. |

I wouldn't fault all analysis but amukoko-alaba suru-mile 2 max is #400 |

MasterTeeUSA:Where is Lagos state government expanding BRT services to? Even if it had to expand BRT services, Should Lagos state government wait for labour to advocate for it first? Is the Lagos government not responsible for overseeing the activities of road transporters or that function has been permanently ceded to Oluomo? |

An attractive benefit for workers by companies is to offer paid transport to the nearest landmark to the closest station to the company's premises. The problem would be the inconsistencies in prices. Lagos needs a mass train network. Nothing else. |

HenryWilliams:Are you aware that BRT does not really operate the different routes but the BRT routes have been shared and are controlled by certain people in Lagos? |

Actually it's not just fuel. Servicing parts of vehicles is more than 600% high from the past two years to now. Engine oil is so expensive....the cheapest engine oil is about 18k for 4 litres and that's the newly introduced NNPC oil . Oil like Mobil 1000 etc are in the rate of 29k for 4litres and 32k for 5litres....then talk about thyroids, ball joints, lower arms, shock absorber, brake pads etc ...if you need to replace these parts....just hold like 160 to 300k depending on the type of cars..... It's terrible in Nigeria to be a car owner this time.... JuanDeDios: |

Igando to ikeja by brt is 500 Yellow bus will charge 1000 If you are in lagos use brt and train more than public transport they are individual own and it’s for profit |

Fashola really tried with that BRT stuff. It is shameful sanwo olu failed to build on that legacy. Road transportation is still the most preferred and accessible means of transport. Who train epp? |

Honestly Lagos rates are totally crazy. How can Ikaja to Palmgrove they charging 700!!! Haba!! Bolt just within Ikeja is 4000-5000 depending on the period. Am not based here but visit once a while, and must confess compared to other states, the rates here are ridiculous to say the least. |

Omoluabi16:As if you do not know who owns brt, even the buses ambode bought to equip a proper lagos state government owned brt, immediately he was kicked out of the race, the new gov handed over the newly bought buses to the wuruwuru brt operator. |
