Zainab Ado-Bayero, daughter of the late Emir of Kano, Ado Bayero, has opened up about her emotional and physical exhaustion following her father’s passing.


In a now-viral video, Zainab disclosed that she and her family have been living in dire conditions, struggling to make ends meet since the Emir’s death.

She revealed that she is currently stranded in Lagos without support or resources.

She recounted how her father left her without an education or a home.

In the video, Zainab said:

To be quite honest we all know what he's doing is wrong, I'm not saying this ma cause I know your stance towards those asking for assistance especially as they've been several bad eggs but ma'am if writing a plea to him if what would take me from ketu to sango this evening I'm ready to do it coupled with the fact that ado bayero is unable to witness his daughter being mistreated, I'll draft a piece maam .

So does Islam teach that children from a Christian wife should be thrown out and not given anything? Then why didn't he concentrate on marrying his fellow Muslim women to make up his harem?
