Listen, this thing is a general problem in Nigeria. That's why I have repeatedly maintained that this country and the people in it are sick. Nigerians are subhumans. Nigerians are mentally unfit to be called humans.

Weaponized poverty. I can gather a crowd larger than that with $1000. Just give them advance notice that there will be free food and gifts when he arrives.

There will even be a stampede.

I don't care if the crowds welcoming these corrupt leaders are rented or not...!

The truth is... Nigeria may never attain development and morality.

Where such level of Stockholm Syndrome abounds, only retrogressive leadership will be the order of the day.
It is not just leadership . Just have money and you will be amazed the kind of stunts you can pull in Nigeria . An Ordinary house of representatives member can brag about calling the IG to come like a common police officer to attend to his oppression . Just inquire how much it is to get personal police escort and Your eyes will open to a lot of mad things happening in Nigeria .

Same police can get you guns and backdated licenses . Just have your money .

A friend abroad once stated that politicians have so weaponized poverty that we can call it advanced weaponry . I will go a step further and say if you have money you can also use that weapon .

I guess you guys missed his point or I hope , i am right about what i think is the situation he is trying to point out grin

Yahaya Bello's controversial governance has sparked widespread criticism, yet he still receives overwhelming support from some quarters. His administration has faced allegations of corruption, electoral fraud, and incitement to violence, including a US visa ban for undermining democracy in Nigeria.

Bello's denial of COVID-19 and opposition to vaccines have also raised concerns. Despite these controversies, his supporters have rallied around him, even after his loss in the 2023 presidential election.

It's puzzling that despite his questionable leadership, people still welcome him enthusiastically. This paradox raises questions about the complexities of Nigerian politics and voter behavior.

Some of Bello's notable controversies include:
- Corruption Allegations: Misappropriation of ₦80.2 billion and laundering charges
- Electoral Fraud: Accusations of rigging and violence during elections
- COVID-19 Denial: Refusal to acknowledge the pandemic's severity
- Vaccine Opposition: Claims that vaccines are harmful
- US Visa Ban: Sanctioned for undermining democracy

These issues have led to widespread criticism, yet Bello's is welcomed with open arms
Good observations. Can you throw more lights on his denial of covid 19 and the effects of his continual governance during the pandemic. Cos I was thinking people would have died in droves in Kogi state given the Governor's denial of the pandemic.

He will be welcomed by his people with open hands because those who came to welcome him have been promised to collect some monies for such act.

You guys should watch the video and understand what vdm is actually trying to say before attacking him.
Guy is actually right and its not only in kogi state but virtually the whole naija ....for example, transport fares in Lagos are astronomical and we all know how the agberoes influence this to a large extent. We all know how these guys harass lagosians everyday...but let me oluomo go to Oshodi or agege today and see Stockholm syndrome people fooling themselves...
Despite the hardship APC brought upon Nigeria, the people are still fighting for them, some just to "shame the Igbos"

Nigeria ain't ready for any real change ..they are still under the spell of APC change.. 😁😁😁😁

Buhari and many prominent northerners still consider Abacha a HERO and will recommend him for sainthood.
Ibori is still regarded as a demigod in some parts of delta state and the whole political class in delta justled to receive him from jail. Orji kalu is a sitting Senator.
AKPABIO is the senate president and TINUBU is the president.
My brother, are you still looking for the definition of CRIMINOCRACY?.

Kindly explaint to yourself that there's nothing new here.
THIS IS NIGERIA!!.

You are right , no record of death was seen in Kogi but Kogi State's COVID-19 response, led by Governor Yahaya Bello, has been contentious. Despite the pandemic's severity, Bello claimed COVID-19 was a hoax, stating fear of the virus kills faster than the virus itself. This stance sparked concerns about the state's preparedness and response.

Notably, Kogi reported zero COVID-19 deaths, but critics argue this may be due to underreporting or lack of testing. The governor's skepticism and inaction potentially exacerbated the situation.
