but she has peace of mind before now too cos the guy has been wonderful maintaining the car and on his own increased the payment to 35k while still maintaining the car.......just to use the car for 5 days ooo

I have this neighbor (also a long time church member, like a youth pastor) who has been without a job for a while. He reached out to me with a deal. He would be hustling with my car (Honda Civic 09) five times a week and be giving me 25k/week with all repairs on him. I use the car basically only on Sundays. I jumped on the deal thinking it's the best thing after rice. There was no written agreement but he has not failed with his promise since August and to the best of my knowledge, car is in good shape. That's what my mechanic has been saying.
I must confess that he on his own decided to pay 35k/week since first week of December which of course is like a December appreciation gesture from him.
Please, is 25k/week a good deal? I'm not being greedy, just asking to be in the know of this business.
Although he hasn't failed with his payment, should I opt for a formal agreement?
Help a sister.

Truth is, I'm even more confused than I was before I asked my questions.

Unless it’s for altruistic reasons don’t be fooled, some pay 65k for 7day.
I collect 55k rent my suggestion is 40/45k while he does all the maintenance

I am sure by now, you're already HATING ur driver....Why would driver be making 1M naira per month and he's giving you just 100k!

What you are saying is the owner should wallow in poverty, what you are saying is if you have a tenant living in your property , 3bed house in say Lekki paying N500k he lived there since 2010, the landlord arrive from the UK, you are suggesting he accepts that rent like that because he is a very nice man, or a person collecting 35k minimum should not collect the new minimum wage because he is a nice man,

Not entirely bad, to me it's a fair deal.
Don't judge with the dashboard you are seeing here.
What you should be after the conditions of the car, so you won't have to spend the little he has given you at last.

Indrive has its advantage, in that it clipped the wings of Bolt &Uber.
Especially Bolt as regards acceptance rate bullshit. You don't force trips on drivers. Indrive was able to get an inroute into the market through that single loophole in the app design.
