Honestly, it is cheating, how much is 5k daily, money that can't sustain your feeding in a day..

He's just using maintenance as camouflage to make the deal look nice...

She should retrieve the car and not further negotiate with same person

nope that you are the one advocating here since that 65k rental is good while all maintenance is on the owner.....putting that into perspective someone doing 5days out of a week and all maintenance been done by him and then you are saying it's cheating at 35k

well cars don't breakdown daily but once it does you know how much you are going to spend with the present inflation rate

Ahh
Don't be moved by the figure been displayed.
Yes it's achievable but driver will have to work extra hours to achieve such. Thereby resulting in a quick deterioration of the car in a long run which you won't like and will spend more on maintenance and will make the other person give the vehicle back to you after almost using it rack for his purpose.

Ask those that are making those figures, most of them the vehicle being used Is not their personal vehicles. After using it to condemnation, they will return and start seeking for another one. No amount of maintenance can return a vehicle to it's original shape.

Just note that the higher the return rate, the higher the work hours and the higher the quick decapitation of your car.

Everyone working hours differs, if he's remitting 35k he might not be working a full day. Meaning he will have long hours of stops and waits. If he's to remit higher amount then he will put it more time of hours to work.

If I know you personally, the way I will use your thing atimes will be different from the way I will use it if i know you from afar.
Be discreet in your decision making without being emotionally. Like someone said 40 to 45k is fair. Not even 60k.

There are times i will see a good trip to a distance location but the road that leads to the pick up is a turn off, I won't let my personal ride ply such road to pick up. If it was another man's vehicle, let's say the actual Suzuki. I will take the chance. Afterall it's not my car. It's just to meet my target and remit, I won't factor the bad pick up road..

There Re times I will want to drive till 11pm but will pamper my car and stop at 9pm. If it were to be another man's car. I will drive am overnight sef. It's to maintain when needs arises, I will and will make sure I make enough millions from it.

Does this scenario not applicable to those still remitting a ridiculous amount weekly? It all boil down to individual mindset and maintenance culture or will remitting 35k weekly stop him from abusing the car?

Indrive unfortunately, has become a waste of time.
You are right. I was referring to Indrive of 2021. Atm,indrive is a very poor app.

CheerfulGiver:
on Uber you do 40 trips in less time it takes you to do 20 trips on other apps. Factor that in.
Bolt is always back to back. and Bolt destination is a sure banger for 35k net minimum, for those who know when to deploy it.. So why strive for more trips when you could max out earnings with fewer trips..

I will give an instance. During these surge days before 25th. 2 trips on Bolt gave me 91k gross.n Bolt was charging me 16% commission.
And uber was still dangling 30trips for 40k.
Meanwhile on Bolt with 2 trips, I already have a net of 72k. This happened severally during the week, I outrightly rejected some trips.

I can bet with my balls, that driver is working more than people that post their figures here, if you wanna confirm, ask the owner to note down the km he covers everyday for 2 weeks and let's see what he average in a day...

It won't
I'm just saying we shouldn't use the yardstick of others are making for example 200k net weekly to judge him for remitting 35k.

Like someone said @HelenaWills take the Odometer readings to see the KM covered by him weekly then draw your conclusions.

No be lies, if all that bolt surge die down i don’t know if i will be able to work if no surge. See this single trip, i even pity the rider say make we off meter when coming back he say no need. I just laugh for my mind.

This is without recourse to the case study at hand but 2 months is a long time for car to develop issues.
AC failing alone can gulp excess of 150k
Battery is 80k
I don't know the price of parts in that car but I know tyre alone is at least 17k.
Engine parts like alternator, kick starter, water pump, radiator can spoil at anytime.
Shock, hub, bolt joint are regular repairs
Servicing every month.

My proposal is owner should always fix his/her car, driver should deliver a handsome and fair amount out of what is obtainable not what he can achieve.
The moment u start telling driver to do repairs, oyo is ur case. And the moment the repairs are exceeding the delivery, u know there is a problem. Nobody enters a business to make a lose. This applies to both driver and owner. If driver cannot deliver a break-even amount to owner, he should drop d car. The moment owner is not getting, profit plus depreciation, car should be retrieved.

This notion of if rent is low driver will not drive the car too much is not always true. A bad driver will drive ur car to ruin if he will, whether u give him 25k target or 50k target.
A good and careful driver will also drive ur car carefully and maintain it irrespective of the delivery amount.

Secondly, why will ur use of another person's property be a function of an existing relationship? It should just be based on good conscience and character. We always act like we are an island, not knowing that our actions are seeds, and whatever we do we will reap it a thousand fold from another person. Tomorrow u will also give ur property to someone to keep or manage and they will treat it the way u treated someone else's own with interest ontop.

if I am to use myself as example I spent close to 500k in maintenance this last month I had a blocked catalyst and all the rewire I had complained to did not detect it on time till the thing aggravated to the point that my engine has been affected now...... ordinary that you want to do servicing now and you want to use the right oil you will spend close to 70k which you have to do every 2-3 months depending on usage

Lolz... If u prosper with this mentality, it's just a matter of time... Kama will catch up with u and that millions u amarsed at the expense of another person's investment, sweat, tears and regret will be wasted by someone else too...
What always guides me is ask myself, this thing I want to do, if someone did it to me will I be happy or if the person knew what I was doing, will they approve of it?
Its for actions like this I put a clause in my contracts that "costs/damages due to drivers action or negligence will be the responsibility of the driver"

I was just stating obvious instances, so the lady can know few drivers' acts and how to preserve her property and negotiations.

You can state your opinion without that gross first and second paragraph. All yall result to is curses and abuses that don't hold waters. Most drivers will do all I said while using the vehicle like its theirs, and still make it in life regardless.

Do all you need to do to guide your property and investments jealousy.

Typical example of why rentals will only benefit drivers and send car owners to their early grave.

But as always, it's drivers that will come out and defend this nonsense business agreement.

I have always asked this question, what's the ideal remittance fee a driver is meant to give the owner on rental business? Who sets the ideal fee?

But what i get are sentimental responses from drivers.

It's well

I apologize if I made u feel uncomfortable.
I wasn't referring to u in particular, don't take it personal.
My statement is a general one for everyone indulging in such acts. And that is the truth, it's not a curse or abuse.
Christian, Muslim, Buddhism and Hindu religions books assert this. Even for an atheists morality tells us to do to others what we want others to do to us, and whatever we sow we will reap.
