Mehn... People are really stupid here. Kai. How did I even come to share a country with some of these guys? Anything at all to rubbish the US is welcomed at their table, regardless of how stupid it presents them to be.
Like these guys are something else, even when they are caught in their stupidity they still try to agure blindly.

Just because you hate the US, does that makes one devoid of reasoning to the extent you now sound stupid.

Even a primary school pupil with the right tools would easily come to the conclusion that the US are far ahead in terms of AI than China.

Will I now be aggressively aguring blindly that the US is better than China in terms of robotics just because I have an affection for the US.

Yup.

Could also be a false flag by their "greatest" ally + intel community.

Probably to force Trump to increase rather than reduce troop numbers in the Levant.

Regardless, if terrorists have been able to radicalize ex US military forces and get them to launch attacks in the mainland; then the US is essentially a zombie tinderbox.

It does lend credence to estimates that the number of terrorists in American sleeper cells exceed 1000.
These were estimates of arrivals. Since it's assumed that the number of native-born radicalized nutjobs is statistically insignificant.
Apparently, those are conservative guesstimates.

It would appear the only thing stopping the jihadists from pulling the trigger on a mass-casualty multi-event attack is the expected response.
Otherwise, they essentially have the capability to carry out 9-11 level attacks.
If terrorists are this pervasive in the US. Then it's open season in Europe.
Sadly, I don't think this attack will be a wake up call.

Jihadists have a larger footprint today than in 2001.
Afghanistan. Syria. Libya. Sudan. Somalia. The poorly-secured Sahel.
Qatar. Saudi Arabia. The GCC. Pakistan. Now Turkey are state sponsors of Wahhabi terrorism.
They have more money, nuke and nuke arrangements, and influence than they did 20 years ago.

Yet, somehow the West are focused on crippling Russia. China. Iran.
They consider these jihadists as partners in their confrontation against the Axis.
The geniuses created the conditions for murderous savages to thrive because they are obsessed with preventing a multipolar order.
Now, we're going to get the multipolar order, emboldened terrorists, and less safety.
Nice work Deep State!

To folks in the multipolar camp. Keep your head on swivel. Wherever you are.
Even China is having car and stabbing attacks.
Going forward, intelligence agencies are going to focus more on bloc geopolitics, leaving headroom for the terrorists to slip through the cracks.

I've been thinking about this for a while now.

The entire western bloc have deployed all their resources to monitor Russia while giving enough breathing room to terrorist groups.

They're all too focused on Russia. Terror groups have had 3 solid years to re-arm, reorganize themselves and train. This year will be full of surprises for the west. Mark my words.

LordAdam, you and all this your conspiracy theories, this isn't the first time terrorist are carrying out attacks on the US and it won’t certainly be the last!!
This are the price the US pays for being in the fall front in the terrorism fight all around the world.

Your hypothesis that this has to do with geopolitical issues around the world is shamefully wrong. It's disgraceful actually.

Infact if you are to check the sats since the Russia invasion of Ukraine and the Hamas issue in the Middle-east, there hasn't been any major attack carried out by terrorists groups against the US so you trying to paint or bring this two events together is clearly wrong.

Also it's not new that US military personnel can be radicalized, they have be isolated cases of active and discharge US military personnel carrying out terrorists style attacks. Anyone can be radicalized military personnel or not, this is not the first time. This one is not even strange considering the ethnicity of the attacker.

Would have post the security memo given to us at work. Anyone who have lived in the US knows the risks especially during religious festivals and end of year celebrations the potential for attacks are high. Most Jewish stores I know didn't even open during New year's eve up to the new year day.

They are different US agencies dedicated in keeping the US safe from terror attacks and what happens in Russia, China or in the middle-east won't stop them from doing there job.

Stop writing with emotions.

One mumu was posting net worth of American companies, which are basically powered by the dollar...

An illiterate is better than a half literate because an illiterate is ignorant and he knows, but the half literate is ignorant but he disagrees

the mumu doesn't even know that if these same super companies where located somewhere else even if their outputs remains the same, they would be no where near where they are today...
one of the reasons America doesn't open up to chinese companies because these guys really put the work in. And once they get the dollars flowing in, they begin to dwarf existing American companies.

A very good example is the Tik tok saga, and the Chinese EV issue, the solar panel market, robotics... should I keep going? 😂😂😂

You get it.

9/11 occurred at a time when US was the undisputed superpower.
Putin was still clearing Yeltsin's mess. China hadn't even entered the WTO.
We were firmly in the "end of history" era where it seemed like the US will remain the defacto #1 in perpetuity.
So when the Wahhabis attacked, Wahhabi terrorism became the sole focus of the entire American security architecture, almost overnight.
Nothing divided their attention.

It's very different today.
Wahhabi terrorism is lower on the priority list.
The Pentagon, Langley, and State have their best and brightest working on containing China, "weakening" Russia, or dismantling Iranian resistance (at the behest of their "greatest" ally).

Heck, during the cold war, the arch enemy was the Soviet Union.
China was a weak power.
Their attention wasn't divided.

Today, terrorist attacks are happening way too frequently in the Western hemisphere.
For a while, the jihadis preferred to focus on Europe because they weren't particularly fazed by any European retaliation.
We'll see if the terrorist attacks in the US become an annual occurrence as they almost are in Europe.

The geniuses ticked off Russia, China, and Iran.
All of whom contributed to the war on terrorism efforts against the Taliban after 9/11 and ISIS after the Boston bombing.
In fact, they went further to offer material and financial support to jihadis to harm Russian and Iranian interests in Syria.
Every generation of the Deep State believes they'll be able to tame the animals. And every time the result is dead westerners.

But I guess it's worth it that Assad has been replaced by head-choppers and the Taliban replaced Soviet-backed Afghanistan government.
Consider this the umpteenth evidence why the Hegemony must not be allowed to run a unipolar world.

For instance, if any Nigerian government irks them or drifts too close to the Axis, next thing you know, ISWAP or Boko Haram henchmen will be giving interviews to Western media and being rehabbed as "moderate" or "woke" "rebels".
We're dealing with evil, vile characters. Dozens of western fatalities is interpreted as the fair cost of playing a dangerous game.

⚡The cessation of Russian gas transit through Ukraine puts EU countries at risk, writes the French newspaper Le Monde.

Today, the Ministry of Energy announced a "historic event" — the stoppage of Russian gas transit through Ukraine.

Le Monde notes that the announcement of the transit halt at the end of last year led to a surge in gas prices, which were already under pressure due to the cold start to winter in Europe.

The Dutch TTF futures contract, considered the European benchmark for natural gas, reached and then exceeded the €50 per megawatt-hour mark ($512 per 1,000 cubic meters) just before January 1, the highest level since October 2023.

In addition to the energy costs, the closure of this gas pipeline has highlighted the difficulties the EU faces in forming a unified energy policy.
