If your reference is to the non stony Nigerian rice then it still did not start from Tinubus government , it was started by Jonathan's rice revolution, continued by Buhati and not Tinubu at all, I recall Ambode and Kebbi state govt in Jonathan's time coming up with Lake rice and the price was then far cheaper than the imported ones, it's only in Tinubu govt that we have Nigerian rice that is now at same price wit foreign rice and it's not something to be proud of at all.
It's the same way you are attributing refineries that Buhari paid fully for it's rehabilitation to Tinubu, the funny thing is while Tinubu himself is praising Buhari for fixing the refineries, his zombies like Reno and the ones here on nairaland are praising him for the refineries.You zombies should stop clinging at any straw to praise your master and attributing things he has no clue of to him.

One of the best news to come from Tinubu's administration. Gone are the days Nigeria crude oil would remain unsold for months without seeing buyers just because we didn't have functional refineries. Let's keep up the tempo.

However, Buhari may have started it, fine. Obasanjo said it was not possible to revive them. I still still to my guns. I am a Yoruba man, not a politician, but prodigal fathers destroyed the refineries. It is the programme of APC to fix the sectors of economy that have been down. You could even say that Buhari didn't Introduce many projects but completed mostly abandoned projects. He had his faults in allowing large scale corruption and looked away from bandits and herdsmen's menace.
Tinubu is tackling economy and of course, I want him to tackle the political imbalance in Nigeria. Why should a section of Nigeria be saying they hold the political steering of the nation? For instance, Yoruba is about 42 million population in Nigeria. Igbo should be about 30 -35 million, Hausa -Fulani are far less than any of these. They are claiming they can decide who becomes the president. In the northern Nigeria are many ethnic entities that the south. These are being deceived by their Islamic masters. The day they wake up, Hausa -Fulani will know they weigh less than air in Nigeria.

It was been subsidized heavily. Not would have been wrong with subsidies if done in a proper way. Nigeria borrows heavily to run the country and yet sells subsidized fuel to neighboring countries. The importers take the subsidies from government, sold trucks and the same barrels of fuel severally. Atimes even empty barrels were paid for! During festive periods, the prices were up. The question is, where was the subsidy when the prices went up. The most annoying part, the parasitic , lazy part of the country were the people benefiting from the madness.

Now, to sell at international price with our crawling Naira, the price must be high. Not that it is actually high but our exchange rate. Until we grow our economy to bring down the exchange rate, nothing will be well. All sectors of our commerce are interrelated. The more we have a homegrown economy, not IMF dictated, the better for us. I know things are hard, I feel it myself but the right things must be done otherwise, nothing is there for the future.
People can criticize Tinubu but we need someone like him to confront the problems. And, the problem of Nigeria is not really the economy but prodigal fathers destroying the economy. This the reason the parasitic side is crying wolf at tax reform bill.

Diesel was Deregulated ages ago, but why do you think It shot up just now?

So you guys still think there is no Subsidy? lol Look for a country as large as Nigeria, the govt has no coping mechanism to solve the issue of inflation when it comes to petrol in Nigeria rather they confuse you lot with all these gimmicks there is heavy subsidy as we speak ,this is why the NNPOCV is still involved in importation to cover their tracks, Nigerians wake up.

I laugh when I see this kind of comment. Politicians do everything possible to run down opponents, even killing!
