Typical example of why rentals will only benefit drivers and send car owners to their early grave.

But as always, it's drivers that will come out and defend this nonsense business agreement.

I have always asked this question, what's the ideal remittance fee a driver is meant to give the owner on rental business? Who sets the ideal fee?

But what i get are sentimental responses from drivers.

It's well
Which arrangement would your recommend?

Another brand new year is here, new opportunities and fresh start.
Forget about the disappointing past and take your future in your hands. The best way to predict your future is by creating it now because your future is defined by what u do today.
Don't be afraid to take risks, don't be weary of stretching yourself to your limits, dream big and work hard. Don't let anyone tell u it's not possible. If u aren't scared of your dreams, if people don't laugh at it then it's probably not big enough.
Fall, make mistakes, stand up, learn from your mistakes and keep going. For every door that is closed on you, knock on 3 more. Rejection should not limit you, disappointment should not discourage you and setback should not make u stand back
Your current status doesn't count but your mental picture of your future. Write is down, speak to yourself every morning, pray to your God , work it out and what u say, u will eventually have.
It will turn out well for us all. 🙏

There are times i will see a good trip to a distance location but the road that leads to the pick up is a turn off, I won't let my personal ride ply such road to pick up. If it was another man's vehicle, let's say the actual Suzuki. I will take the chance. Afterall it's not my car. It's just to meet my target and remit, I won't factor the bad pick up road..

There Re times I will want to drive till 11pm but will pamper my car and stop at 9pm. If it were to be another man's car. I will drive am overnight sef. It's to maintain when needs arises, I will and will make sure I make enough millions from it.
I simply believe cars are meant to be driven

if I am to use myself as example I spent close to 500k in maintenance this last month I had a blocked catalyst and all the rewire I had complained to did not detect it on time till the thing aggravated to the point that my engine has been affected now...... ordinary that you want to do servicing now and you want to use the right oil you will spend close to 70k which you have to do every 2-3 months depending on usage
Which oil is 70k?
This is a corolla as the best car for the hustle mentality
Seahorse or hardex is under 35k for full synthetic
😔

If I remember correctly, your position has always been to buy TOKS COROLLA and the driver should now pay high remittance because the cost you incurred for the purchase of the vehicle

Our response to you was to look for cheaper suitable cars for this hustle and collect the average remittance ATM which you blatantly refused

You insist it must be a corolla

You are mixing things up,but I will not dwell on it.

Honestly, this will always be a myth.
There was a period I drove like twice a week, I kid u not each time I came back to d car there was something to fix... From alternator to fan belt to tyre to battery to shock to linkage to brake disk to hub. But when I drive the car everyday I can drive the car for 1 month and will not even gauge tyre.
The only thing I know remains pristine with mild usage is the seats of the car. A car is full of mechanical mobile parts and they are designed to move.

I'm only saying whatever arrangements she makes with any driver she'll still be losing as most nigerians are dishonest.
In that Lagos, any driver working 8-10 daily had better be ready to deliver 90k weekly. Shikenah!

The average remittance ATM is 30k, determined by market forces. But it's your car, you also have the right to determine how much you want for remittance. As long as you can get a Good driver to take the offer.

But I can do 50k weekly in case you have a good car

30k?

So that's 120k monthly?

What market force are you referring to? Are you saying there’s an oversupply of reliable vehicles with fewer drivers in demand? And why you feel owners would agree to a 30k weekly remittance despite the current economic conditions?

And why suggest 50k if you consider 30k to be the ideal remittance fee? I’m a little unclear.

That guy is on colos...

Who determines the average weekly remittance he stated, the guy even went ahead to say he will deliver 50k weekly if the car is in good condition, so now, the remittance is being determined by the condition of a car. He must be on colos.

It's appalling how some people behave, even though it's a public forum.

I grossed over 21m last year in total. With right strategy and focus, driving will open up your financial independence.

It's not for everyone. Those with shit_ mentality will never get the hang of it, even if they put in their best effort.

Maybe I should have said market conditions or working conditions. There's nothing cast in stone. You as a car owner can also determine what you want as remittance. You can set your remittance at 100k per week, as long as you can get a driver to take up the offer.

I said I can do 50k bcuz that's what I can do. I speak for myself. Hope it's clearer now
