The lack of state-owned pipe-borne water in the homes of Lagos residents has continued to be a source of concern, a non-profit group, Corporate Accountability and Public Advocacy Africa (CAPPA) has said.

At a press event to mark this year’s World Water Day, the group said its monitoring team’s visit to state-owned waterworks showed that most of them are not operational.

The group said the waterworks it visited include the ones at Maryland, Mushin, Ikorodu, Obalende, Agbowa, Onikan, Ikoyi, and Amuwo Odofin.

Only the one in Ikoyi is producing water, according to CAPPA.

A 45-year-old resident and father of three, Mr.Fatai Lamide told PUNCH HealthWise that no building in the community has toilet facilities.

The Oyo State-born mechanic said, “We don’t have toilet in this area, including our compound. This canal that you see serves as toilet to all of us living in this area. We defecate inside nylon and throw it inside the canal.

“For people that don’t want to use nylon, they have a special bucket that they use after which they pour it inside the canal too.

The number 1 is applicable to whole state in Nigeria, Lagos is the only state you can buy all food items in the market by 4am. And workers are already on the road to work by 5am.

Before Lagos, I left home for work by 8:45 and got to work in 10 minutes. Lagos is different ball game, even though the work distance is the same, it took me 2 hours (that's if I leave home before 6am)

All you need to do is Google the world's financial districts and check if Lagos is there or not. We don't need to argue. South Africans who see Joburg there or Kenyans who see Nairobi on the list or Americans who see New York will still complain about slums and inequality but whether those cities are financial districts or not, check my earlier comment on the definition.

Number 16 is quite true too

Just read through. You couldnt have said it better.

As for the population of Northerners in Anambra, I guess it says more about the region than the Northerners themselves. Aside Deltans(linked by state boundaries), its very very very hard to see non-Igbos in Anambra(excluding Onitsha). You could just walk into anywhere and speak igbo and most times, 100% of those there are Igbos

Why compare them tho?
You picked and supported the ones that resonate with your tribal sentiments, your education is a waste if all it affords you is bigotry

Inasmuch as the above write up are entirely true, the language barrier is same.

In Lagos, you can't speak English because you'll get a response in Yoruba. It is logical to find northerners more in Lagos than in anambra. The SE is predominantly Igbo speaking region. Walk up to anyone and speak Igbo and you'll get a response back in igbo.

1. Initially onitsha has lots of agberos but today Lagos is leading in terms of agberos!
2. In SE as a whole, Catholic and Anglican seems to be the dominate churches there and hence must not be criticize, unlike in Lagos or SW.
3. In anambra, most people are not interested in white collar jobs, or getting government jobs they prefer doing business instead unlike in Lagos
4. In anambra and SE generally, their women are highly Manipulative and strictly in the lookout for money, they are extremely money conscious 💰 they call their SIMP men "odogwu" , while in Lagos and SW as a whole, their women are also in the lookout for money too, but too dull to manipulate a man.
This part is very very very correct.

They manipulate the men with title-calling (odogwu) and Igbo man being proud and loud, the hailing of Odogwu swells his head and he empties his pocket for the woman.

The Igbo woman's arrogance and over- petting is why theu have highest ratio of feminism movements and house-help beating in Nigeria.

South South women and South West and Middle Belt Christians may want money, but they don't know how to skill-fully and craft-ly understand you to extract money from you.

Igbo women are too witty and crafty. You have to up your street-sense mode to better them in their game sense.

If she leaves you for being "stingy", at least she left you with your money with you. If you spend on her and upgrade her with flashes of beauty skincare, clothing, schooling, the Igbo woman will become an upgrade, attract men better than you and still leave you for those men.

I have given you a lesson

Many of those fanta in Anambra and Abia are fake. Dirty polluted water mixed with nutri-c in a dirty warehouse at a backyard of a market. Then they use canning machine to cork the plastic.

You would think they don't buy the plastics from the aboki carrying around used plastics from the roadside.

Oga ,
Come to onitsha and see, if not for insecurity in Orsu LGA.
Yorubas are regarded as being the best in tailoring in these areas unlike in Aba.
They charge less and they deliver on time due to their numbers.
I saw one Yoruba tailor that have been in my village for decades some months back here in lag, omo d guy shock die .
What a small world. The insecurity in my village have really scattered everything for us.
He was a boss with over 15 employees but now is managing one small container shop as a result of insecurity in the East.

The population of Igbos in Station Road, Oshogbo alone is way more than all the Yorubas in Anambra State combined! Yes, elite Yorubas may not reach 30 in Anambra. One Yoruba doctor at Onitsha Cantonment was quite popular back then as host of Yoruba elite's social events but he moved abroad. Can't recall his name, long time ago.

it's good to say the area you are in Anambra so you don't sound ridiculous when you make certain claims. Someone who lives in Onitsha will find it ridiculous when you say they don't open for business on time.

Yoruba tailors are BETTER trusted by the clients? of course that is very untrue. That arguably use to be the case in the late 90s and early 2000s owing to fashion trends when kaftan used to be the dominant native wear. fashion/designers have tripled since 2010. While it may be the main occupation of Yorubas in Anambra, they are still a small minority compared to the so called indigenes (a lot of them are from Enugu, Ebonyi etc)
I think building sites also have significant number of Yorubas and Togolese.

Transport in Anambra can't be called cheap o except that of Lagos is up the roofs.
