For example, two men fight in a club and one kills the other.

Since the killing was neither premeditated or intentional and there was no emotional connection, the man who killed would be charged with murder in the second degree.

Murder in the second degree carries a more severe sentence than a heat of passion crime.

This is a case of manslaughter, if the gym instructor has a good lawyer, he can claim for self defence and walk away with a few years but due to the magnitude of the beating, his intention was to kill. He probably punched the guy in the stomach to kill him so he can take over the man's wife and his property. That's what the defendent lawyer will say.

Punching someone in the stomach causes internal bleeding. Why punch your fellow man so hard to death cos of a woman. The gym instructor will go to jail either way. People that have more muscles than him will be waiting for him there. The same fate might likely await him too.

He can't claim self-defense at all.

First of all, there is a video of the fight. There was never a time during the fight when the gym instructor was in any danger.

The gym instructor is not just a boxer, but also a boxing coach. He had a fighting advantage over the victim.

For a boxer to go into a bare-knuckle fight with a non-boxer, it would take only God to stop him from getting a death sentence because this can easily be determined as murder in the first degree.

Everyone blaming the victim need to understand that it was the responsibility of the gym instructor to manage the situation.

The gym instructor is a boxer and boxing coach.

As a boxer, you should know that you are a killing machine.

Boxers are usually very disciplined individuals with high emotional intelligence.

Even if a non-boxer provokes you or even puts his hands on you, there are different places to hold or hit him to immobilize him without causing him grave injuries.

But this poor excuse for a boxer went bare-knuckle on a non-boxer. He is a danger and a disgrace to the sport of boxing.
