Chairman of the North-Central All Progressives Congress, APC, Forum, Alhaji Saleh Zazzaga, has declared that there is no magic that can stop President Bola Tinubu from winning the 2027 presidential election.

In a statement released in Abuja on Friday, 3rd January, 2025, Zazzaga said Nigerians will massively vote for Tinubu in 2027 as his policies would have turned the country around for good by the time the election comes around.

Zazzaga, a member of the APC Presidential Campaign Council in the 2023 election, was responding to remarks made by Kano State New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP, chairman, Hashimu Suleiman Dungurawa, who warned Tinubu to prepare for defeat if he decides to go for a second term in office by 2027.

Dungurawa had, while addressing journalists in Kano on Thursday, 2nd January, 2025, said Nigerians will vote Tinubu out in 2027 due to his anti-people policies.

"With these your harsh anti-masses policies, and your stance on them, just prepare for defeat in the next general elections. You either change them or we Nigerians together will change you," Dungurawa told Tinubu, adding that NNPP national leader, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, would defeat Tinubu in 2027.

However, reacting to the NNPP leader's comments, Zazzaga stressed that there is no way the All Progressives Congress, APC, through Tinubu, will not retain the presidency in 2027.

Zazzaga declared that 'bold decisions' taken by Tinubu, such as the removal of fuel subsidy and the floating of the Naira, were necessary steps that have to be taken to put the country on the right path.

Noting that Tinubu should be commended for taking decisions, which, according to him, previous administrations were afraid to take, Zazzaga said Nigerians would feel the positive effects of the policies soon.

"There is no magic that will make Tinubu to lose the presidential election in 2027. There is no way the President Bola Tinubu-led APC government will not have a second term in office and this is not because of the incumbency factor but due to the fact that the President is doing well and his achievements will be appreciated by Nigerians come 2027.

"The policies introduced by President Tinubu, such as subsidy removal and floating of the Naira, are necessary steps that have to be taken for the good of the country.

"President Tinubu should be commended for his courage in taking the decisions, which became vital to the survival of the country because previous administrations failed to do the right things.

"Already, the positive impact of the removal of subsidy and floating of the Naira are being felt and by the time the next elections come around, Nigeria's economy would have been fully repositioned on the path of sustainable growth that Nigerians would have no choice than to elect President Tinubu for a second term to continue moving the country to the Promised Land.

"The economic policies introduced by President Tinubu are already making the expected impact with the recent strengthening of the Naira in the foreign exchange market, improvement in volume of oil production, and rise in foreign reserves, among others. President Tinubu's policies in the petroleum sector have already eliminated scarcity, and we believe that, with time, Nigerians will witness further reduction in the cost of petroleum products, which would reverse inflation in the county.

"President Bola Tinubu deserves a second term to midwife these reforms which are already bearing fruit, and I believe all Nigerians should support his administration to improve the situation in the country," Zazzaga said.

The APC chieftain added that Tinubu's proposed tax reforms, which he described as "pro-poor", would benefit the masses and encourage small businesses.

Zazzaga further pointed out that the North-Central APC Forum had endorsed Tinubu for a second term after assessing his administration, so far, and giving the President a passmark on security, appointments, infrastructure, economy and other areas.

"An assessment of President Bola Tinubu's policies show that he is taking the country in the right direction and deserves the support of all Nigerians to get the country there.

"The North-Central APC Forum evaluated the programmes and initiatives of the Federal Government and it is evident that, since the current democratic dispensation in Nigeria, no other President has given the North-Central as many opportunities as much as President Bola Tinubu.

"No other President has brought as many infrastructural projects to the North-Central as the President Tinubu administration.

"The current level of insecurity in the North-Central is less than what was obtainable during previous administrations. Before now, it was difficult for our people, who are mostly farmers, to go to their farms because of insecurity. But now, due to the leadership provided by Mr President who has given marching orders to the Armed Forces and other security agencies, the people can now go to farm to cultivate and harvest their crops.

"President Tinubu's bold leadership has brought significant progress to our region and the whole nation; he is the right person to continue leading Nigeria towards greater prosperity.

"All Nigerians should rally behind the President and support him for a second term, to enable his administration deepen the gains of his reform policies."

Zazzaga added that, just as it did in the 2023 election, the North-Central APC Forum will work for Tinubu's reelection in 2027.

What happened in 2023 was pure rigging. Everyone with an ounce of brain knows that! What made it easier for them was the 3 major contenders in the race. Obi won!

As for 2027, once the opposition unites with Obi as president or vice, Tinubu won't have any room to use INEC to rig again. His rejection across North, East and South would so bad they won't have any other choice than to accept it.
