Nigeria is building a MASSIVE, world class train station in Kano.

On completion, the edifice will match its counterparts in advanced countries, serving as a northern hub for the fast-expanding Nigerian high speed rail network.

In all honesty, they should have adopted a phased approach, starting with a smaller, scalable model and expanding as demand increased. This would have mitigated the risk of creating yet another underutilized "white elephant" project.

You sef you should know how things operate here, whereby the next administration could de-prioritise the project etc, so if you are going to build the station, kuku build the whole thing now, and know you have done it. Not to hear stories tomorrow.
