From Ogun State’s 2025 Budget: 1. Extension of the RED LINE Metro Rail from Agbado to Kajola 2. Extension of BLUE LINE Metro Rail from Okokomaiko to Agbara/Lusada, and the Purpleline Metro Rail line” NOTE: The Phase 2 of the Lagos Blue Line from Mile 2 to Okomaiko is ONGOING by Lagos State Government. Interesting Move 👌🏾👌🏾 https://www.facebook.com/100044323184888/posts/pfbid0Qq75kEjgEzxdmNUqF4ukknz33XxWoSYpBG4H4vfUi7nTxHRir5jskFp4P8Gfr3z3l/?app=fbl

I love the collaboration between Lagos, Ogun and FG. Hopefully, these projects will be completed within the next two years. God bless Yoruba land! God bless Nigeria!! |

Now, this is what is called Infrastructure! I researched and wrote a mid-term paper in 2006 on the Lagos Mega City plan. Though it is far from being actualized but this is a good progress. I hope 'Eleyi of Ogun' can borrow a leaf and do something meaningful, aside from extending the rail lines, for his state. |

The classic pipe dream A project that is perpetually locked in the realm of construction Lagos blue rail project has been dragging under the Godfatherism of Tinubu for over 15 years, yet still a dream.. . If these failures are not chased into the forest, Apc will forever tamper with una mental health |

Project FG took out billions of dollars from Chinese from, apart from the fact that they grossly and corruptly inflated the construction cost, the bigger issue remains that the zones SS and SE whose resources were collaterals for the loans were excluded from the infrastructural projects and a person with common sense expects a nation to thrive on such lopsided inequity and Injustice? No Nigeria will never thrive but continue falling into the bottomless pit daily with only the marginalized zones progressing |

Biodun556:That's impressive. Proper facilities management of these laudable infrastructure is key. This will save long-term costs of maintenance if professional facilities managers are used to maintain these public infrastructure. But then, kudos to the banking technocrat who rose to the senior rank of a bank treasurer, Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu on the highly impressive legacy projects he and his team are building and gonna be leaving behind in Lagos State. I remember he said COVID-19 lock downs slowed his developmental plans down a bit during his first term due to the disruptions in the global logistics and supply chain. This here shows he wasn't bluffing. |

Tell the truth at all times, Lord Lugard already had this rail in his Lagos masterplan and paid for the project 100% Then, the project was deliberately delayed to give credit to Tinubu and Sanwo-Olu ![]() |

PeterObi4Presid:Lagos built the Lekki bridge in 11 months. Not up to a year. Multiply 11 years by the number of alphabets in Igbo, you have 11x 4 =44. The bridge built by Yorubas in Lagos within 11 months, the 5 states of your backwards muddy region couldn't do it in 44 years. It was Buhari of APC that came to build it for you after wasting your lives slaving for PDP. |
