The man may have known the woman in question doesn't like him but due to societal and family pressure, the woman was forced into the marriage

However, the bride had to reason to kill the groom. Worse case , she should have stood her ground and maybe involved some family and religious persons to intervene

Not in support of her actions but is it not the same family and religious people that forced her into getting married?
