This is a conclusion made after considering so many of the happenings before the election. Emefiele paid some part. Uzodinma played some part. Omisore played some parts. Uzodinma's part angered wike so much at some point. So many things happened in that election.

Buhari didn't want anyone to be president. He wanted the people to decide their own president, but he clearly voted for Tinubu as a loyal party man.

That's not true. One of the reason Emefiele will finally work away unhurt is because he was used to get some money through some of the governors to the governors forum but that money was lost in transit ( I can't say more than this). It was lost between an APC echo from south west and a sitting governor from the East. Before then, Wike was already considering supporting Obi too. But upon sighting the eastern Governor's gullibility, he decided to go for his own man -the Lagos man. Things happened!

So where I am confused is how it is related to the discussion of APC primaries and Buhari choice.

If people send Emefiele to take 3 cubes of sugar, who is the intended beneficiary? Lawal, Tinubu, Amaechi, or Osinbajo? Also, did Buhari have a hand in all this or who sent Meffy?

Maybe some people close to him manipulated him to back a Northerner or it was Atiku that infiltrated and wanted a weak Lawan .
