The problem lies in the importation of fuel, because the local production can't meet the daily needs of the country.

If all the refineries including the modular refineries are working at full installed capacity they will be able to me the daily consumption of 40 million litres daily consumption of the country

If this is achieved, fuel importation will stop,this will save us lot of foreign exchange and reduce demand for foreign exchange and fuel price will ultimately drop.

What we are praying for. When we told them revamp the refineries and keep them working and the issue of fuel subsidy will fizzle out but they were abusing us and calling us wailing wailers, that revamping the refineries would make significant difference in the price of fuel. Today the resuscitation of just two refineries and Dangote refinery have justified our curiosity and label us the most patriotic citizens of this country while the same people that were calling us wailing wailers are now the one heavily rejoicing to the success of our suggestion during Buhari regime.
I give kudos to Buhari for pumping that huge amount of money to revamping our refineries. May God bless him.

Though I say the above with caveat. If Dangote continues pumping more for the market, meaning import costs go down, and he continues to make enough of a profit selling oversease, maybe.

But I doubt it would reach N500. Refineries are built with loans, not with free money, and the loans got to be paid back. Workers also have to be paid competitive wages, because Dangote is competing globally not with Nigeria. And yes, oil workers in NIgeria japa. (And have been doing so for decades. It's a high skill work, and they are in high demand).

All this nonsense is on all because Many people in Nigeria refuse to Learn how to Generate there own power Using 2 seperate Automobile Alternators as Generator of 220VAC and the other as High Torque High Speed Low Voltage Input Brushless DC Motor.

You only need to do simple re-wiring( not winding) of the Stator Coils!!!!
You can even Modify both Alternator and Motor to both Generate 220VAC and thus make one feed power into the other to become TOTALLY SELF-RUNNING.

Other Option is Solar Panel(s) and One Wire Self Running Earth Current Sucker(this one is complex to some extent)
