budaatum:
Did I say anything I needed to ask Tinubu about before I state my own view and opinion?

you did not look well enough, and should.

And if you feel inclined to repeat your question again, please know my answer is the same and you just need to read it again.
were you asked if you said anything you needed to ask tinubu before you state your own view and opinion?

did you ask tinubu before you said these?

budaatum:
So, you all admit Jonathan lacked the balls to remove fuel subsidy, and caved in to Tinubu's protests? I'm glad we are on the eame page.

If you had all voted for my Peter Obi, things might have been better, or worse to be honest, but you'd at least not be contending with Mr Bullion Van, which in my own opinion was enough not to elect him. But here we are with President Agbado, and I personally appreciate the fuel and currency subsidy removals, and the hardship too in fact, as its likely to make you consider your pvc and voting to be more precious and important than most otherwise thought it was.

Please, if you like him as little as I do, vote for Peter Obi or anyone (but perhaps not Atiku please) at the next election.

And before anyone attempts to try to tell me Tinubu was not elected, please read this first!
I dont see where in your write up you answered the simple questions I asked.

did tinubu remove subsidy so that nigeria wont go bankrupt or because he wanted to collect world bank loan?

No we admit that Nigerians like you who gathered and opposed subsidy removal and crippled the economy for several days under GEaj were brainless and still brainless today for supporting a policy they opposed. GEJ had to succumb when the sponsored protests were prolonged and impacting the economy. We all agree on one thing: whoever opposed removal of subsidy under GEJ but support removal of subsidy under Tinubu is brainless.

Yes i totally agree with him cos if d Con3 go bankrupt; how can the fat wages of our political offices holders be paid, how will they c money to embezzle. The only benefit the masses directly enjoy from government is subsidized fuel and yet it is taken away.....Why cant transportation, health , education, food or housing be subsidized. Its un-heard of the the cost of running government is not trimmed and a president want the masses to manage and bear with the current economic situation.

MasterJayJay:
But Tinubu and APC sponsored occupy Nigeria that made Goodluck Jonathan to reverse subsidy removal.

The babablus hypocrites should stop talking nonsense. So you wanted Nigeria to go bankrupt when Goodluck removed subsidy and you attacked him?
Who asked Jonathan to back down? Didn't people oppose tinubu's subsidy removal but he stood his ground. That's the difference in the two leaders.

If it helps, I have always been against fuel subsidy, and currency subsidy for the wealthy, and the one I hate most, wage bill subsidy for employers that many knows as Youth Corper. If they scrap that wage bill subsidy, employers will have to pay their staff the market rate instead of the meagre subsidised wage they currently pay.

Nigeria is comatose because of d remover and our currency is down. The disadvantages are more than d advantages.

Our Trillions is now thousands in world stage. Inflation ravage d land. High cost of living and people getting into poverty everyday.

It makes no sense Mr Tinubu

I Removed Fuel Subsidy To Prevent Nigeria Becoming Bankrupt — Tinubu
Tinubu should just keep quiet and stop insulting our sensibilities. What is the point of his prevent Nigeria becoming bankrupt by removing fuel subsidy if he will then loot the Nigerian treasury with reckless abandon the way he has been doing to Lagos State since 1999 and counting huh

MakindeHassan:
Yes but executed wrongly. It should have been taken out in phases to minimize the shock. Also if you analyze our economy carefully you will discover we have lost more in than we spent on subsidy since it’s removal.

The shock that followed led to inflation that eradicated purchasing power of citizens and many companies closed down due to a hostile business environment. Has your team measured these other loses or you are just measuring the money saved from subsidy?

They won't answer.

His people here always avoid any proper discussion of the economics - its always the politics. Its far easier for them to mouth off 24/7 about 'tribe' and religion and all that nonsense instead of answering the question: are we better off today after the subsidy removal - and the inflation it triggered?

They won't answer.
