Good day house,
I have an issue with my Honda Civic 2008 model. My car uses drum brakes (lining) at the back and it's always leaking oil every now and then. My mechanic and even brake master has changed the rubber severally but after few days or weeks it starts leaking again. I was now advised to convert it to brake disc to have peace of mind. Pls like how much would all the mechanical parts needed for the conversion cost before they start calling inflated price for me. Please....
I am in this same issue like this....my own na make the lining dey scatter inside the drum from bad road. From my inquiry if your hub is still good you will spend like 60k -65k but if they are bad you will spend like 95k-100k

Good Day House.
I have an inquiry to make. My 2003 honda accord engine is loud when I start it, so I had my mechanic reduce the rpm to about 600, and the engine sound is much quiet now.

Does this pose a danger to my engine?

How exactly did your mechanic do that?

I experienced this problem early this year. I woke up in the next day only to discover my honda accord wasn't responding to Fob keyless entry. At first I thought they stole my car battery or the battery was dead. Until I open it with the key and noticed the battery is intact then i start the car. It starts at once but the buttons on the fob not responding.

So I thought maybe the battery on the fob is dead. Just because I used it the previous night. It was what I used to lock the car. So I open the fob and removed the battery then test it with my tongue.

It has some little low charge. Then I put back the battery. The car makes a sound immediately I put back the battery. But when I pressed the buttons it didn't respond. I removed the battery several times but it doesn't that sound again or respond to press.

So I just leave it till I will buy another battery. Yesterday I bought a new battery and When you insert battery it blink red light just once. But the car doesn't respond. I have removed and insert multiple things it doesn't respond.

What could be the problem. I need help

I have similar Issues. The buttons on my key not responding, battery seem OK. I took it To Oyingbo and the guy said it's the panel and that I must change it but I wasn't comfortable with tampering with the panel. But I will wait for further advice based on your post here.

Why are Honda users suddenly experiencing this same issue lately.

I and two other of my friends currently have this same issue which started two weeks ago. I was already planning on getting another key entirely sef.

I guess I'll just do a reprogramming as our ogas have suggested.

Hello bro, what model and year of Honda is it?
I know Honda has something that communicates with the key. (I HAVE FORGOTTEN THE NAME)

It's in the driver window control panel. Once you take out the panel, ull see the sensor tucked inside the panel from the inside view.

I think it's called DOOR RECEIVER

please can this also be the cause of why my key fob only works when I come close to the driver side door? but refuse to work when I press it from any other location.

I had the above issue for more than a year before my key fob finally stopped working two weeks ago.

There's a possibility that might be the cause.
Try changing the receiver first, it's not so expensive, less than 10k I guess....not sure though.

If you can go to oyingbo, its better. That way, once it's fixed and doesn't work, u don't have to oay

The
4cylinder is Solid all round. Nothing really much to say there.
The
V6 will need a little extra attention in its maintenance.

Overall,
Do not buy a vehicle that wasn’t properly serviced and maintained by the previous owner.
Only honda fluids for the transmission, coolant
Only synthetic fluids for the engine oil
Suspension is really solid
AC is super solid

Hello everyone

My car (Honda Accord 2010) rooftop paint has cracked and it makes the car ugly. There is this thing that can be used to cover it like a large sticker.

Please who knows what it is called and how can I get it.

It is going to be a temporary fix if it is not too expensive
It’s called a vinyl wrap. But that will cost you just as much as repainting only the roof. 15k should get that done

Hello Guys,

Please my Honda Accord EOD 2004 V4 engine was ringed about three months ago, now the smoking have started again and the car shorting oil.

Will you advise me to ring the engine again?

Who has an idea of the amount of a tokunbo engine? I will appreciate if I can get contact of a seller at either ladipo or oyingbo

Thank you.

I'm having similar issue with my Honda Civic 2007. How much did you buy your battery?

Tiliphoto123:
I didn't do any work on it.

I later went to the rewire yesterday and it was discovered that the battery is getting weak. So I bought a new battery and the car has been working fine since then without battery drains.

Okay. Tell us the last issue (problem) you had fixed on your vehicle before the issue arose.

Apart from regular oil or brake pad replacements.

Engine is around 500k at Oyingbo, not sure about ladipo.

08081115843 - try this guy at Oyingbo, he rings engine and he's good at it.
He did for someone and its been fine since then. He will check and know if the engine will work if ringed.
Ringing shouldn't be up to 150k. However, if you have the cash, I will advise you buy toks once and for all.

If you decide to buy engine, ask for Uche BIG HEAD, he will give you good deal and also buy the old one.
His shop is around the canal side.
