People like you asked a lot of questions when you started that others helped you with answers that made you succeed in getting your visa, now you feel you have arrived and you now want to feel too important.

People have been going to South Korea before you were born and they will go with or without you.

ujuchike:
Please I advise you should research on that yourself.

If you had gone through this thread, you will check how many times I asked questions and the replies I got, I didn’t depend here to get what I wanted, I can’t recommend any school cos the existence of the internet and smart gadgets ain’t for fancy so don’t be lazy to research on informations and don’t depend on me to tell you everything cos I wasn’t paid for any special service. If you ask questions, research on them, send out mails to universities of your choice, even embassy welcome questions that are related to visa applications. Don’t come here to sound so frustrated like am the cos of your problem. Sadist

Frustrated for what? You are too small to talk about someone you don't know because of small South Korea when you travel to.

You can only talk down of people who can't get information by themselves, I have no interest of going to South Korea so you have nothing to offer me, I only stumbled on the thread and saw your rudeness and pride in responding to people.

yeah using a student visa is very costly, your account or your sponsor's account has to be like 8m and you will have to pay part of the school fees.
Another way to come here is using a business visa but I have no idea about that one.
you can actually come for a language programme but note Korea is difficult without money, especially during winter.
Right now how much should the cost be
And also bros can one pay half before coming

Good evening beautiful people,

Please anyone that has question or questions to ask regarding the SK study visa, should feel free to ask about it here so that others can get informations too but if you are sending a private message requesting for you to be guided, just know that’s now a personal business between us cos some persons are beginning to abuse the fact that I made it open for anyone to ask questions both in private and public.

If you need detailed information regarding the D2 visa, you will have to pay for the consultation fee.

Thank you
Hello, does high school transcript includes JSS 1 -3?

Based on my knowledge, high school is from SS1 in SK. Can you please clarify?

Besides, is authentication from ministry of education to foreign affairs and finally at the Korean embassy?

Thanks

The Police doc is not required but statement of purpose is a must even though it not on the embassy required lists.
What is the meaning of statement of purpose?
Re: Thread for South Korea prospective students by forgiveness: 10:17am On Sep 21, 2024
WILL10:
Okay, so lemme share my thoughts here.

1). High School Diploma Transcript refers to the academic records (preferably from your JSS-3 till SSCE-3) obtained from your Secondary School. Go meet them and have them issue it to you with a stamp and signature from the current Principal. (i still have my own copy).

2). WAEC certificate refers to the photocopy of your ORIGINAL WAEC Certificate(Not testimonial or Statement of Result). No need for WAEC transcript 'cos WAEC is a certification exam body, so there isn't any.

3). Take clear copies of these docs to the notary public(usually found around any Magistrate/High-Court premises around you), and have them stamp and officially attest it with High court stamps/signature and a notary officer's stamp/signature.

That's all.

NB: All these are not for free as there are financial implications for them services. so be prepared!

Hope it helps.
Cheers.
Hello, is JSS 3 transcript part of high school diploma? I thought it is from SS1.

@WILL10...thanks a lot...I have clearly understood what all these are all about. A lot of people have confused themselves concerning this issue of authentication/legalisation of certificates at the MoE/MoF and heading to the embassy for the apostilization stamp... in accordance with the research I have carried out, once you have authenticated/legalized your documents at the both ministries, you don't need to go the the embassy for the apostilization...
Nigeria is one of the 21 apostile countries in the world...So, an applicant from one of the apostile countries who is seeking admission into South korea/ foreign country must authenticate/legalize his/her documents at MoE/MoF in his/her country...but an applicant who is not from the 21 apostile countries must visit South Korea embassy in his/her country for apostilization of certificates... this is my understanding and I stand to be corrected. (Although some schools may request both from ministries and embassy).
before you send your original authenticated/legalized copies to South Korea, make sure you have the notarized photo copies to avoid embassy wahala.
Nigeria is not a member of Hague Apostile countries hence authentication and legalization is needed at foreign affairs ministry and embassy. But if it involves education certificate, it must go through the ministry of education first.

SS1 - SS3 would do, because those are the subjects you would've sat for at your SSCE (NECO/WAEC) exams.

This amount was then, now you will need above 20mil in your account or sponsor’s account as your pof. If your sponsor are not your parents or spouse, just forget it and do self funding.

And secondly if you are paying for tuition fee, I advise you pay full semester fee to boost your documentation.

Sorry, self funding is for those going for a graduate program not undergraduate program. If you are applying for undergraduate programs then you need a sponsor or apply through scholarship.

For language program, ppl I know applied through scholarship and I think that’s the best way to apply tho it’s a short term program.

If you have up to $10k dollar, you can go for language school on self-funding/scholarship. get a visa. Go to korea. apply for masters in so many schools before the 6moths visa elapsed. while there, you can always extend visa with the $10k. But going directly from nigeria, you will need close to $25k on self-funding.

Your timely response is urgently needed. Thanks.

Hello,
Someone assisted me to pay my tuition (I sent naira and the person converted to won to pay in Korea) but if you do not have such option, is best to use bank transfer, but before you do so, contact the school to let them know you can only pay in dollars so they can provide how you can pay and the dollar equivalent.
All the best.

It depends on the duration of your program, the school and the city. In most cases, school gives breakdown of your tuition and cost of living, and the sum of both (tuition and cost of living) determine the total amount for your pof. But to be on the safe side 20mil and above is ok.
