At my mom's burial in Awka, her own blood sister and brother { This was my moms favorite person) made our lives living hell and tried to extort from us that I vowed never to return to Awka again.

Every night, I could not sleep as corps were being brought home and people excited to attend burial ceremonies. I despise a culture that celebrates death and burials, a culture that is materialistic with little or no true love. Those are my lived experiences except you want me to lie which I don't do. The one's I tried to help looked for ways to take an advantage of me and overall, I have not had good experiences.

I do not support the Biafra war as Ojukwu was a non-state actor leading millions of Igbos to their death, today, Ojukwu wife is benefiting from Nigeria with different appointments while the rest are marginalized. I do not support IPO*B because I am educated enough to realize they have nothing to offer ndigbo other than death and destruction. Kanu and Ekpa are non-state actors only there for their own selfish benefits and I will be extremely stupid to support those clowns.

Ojukwu and Gowon met and agreed in Aburi on how to proceed only for Gowon to renegade because according to him, Ojukwu called a press conference before him. Honour and duty meant Ojukwu had to at that point declare the east a sanctuary for fleeing easterners and no longer a Nigerian territory. Even zik that decamped to Nigeria a few months later supported biafra declaration initially. Hell, Ojukwu had no other choice as Biafra was overwhelmingly popular at that point. I bet your Yoruba friends didn't tell you this. You can blame Ojukwu for losing the war, but never blame him for starting it. He didn't.
