I don't think Peter Obi has ever said they should not criticise him, for the avoidance of doubt he has said umpteenth times for people to go and verify him whenever he speaks or made comments about his service to the good people of Anambra. That is why it is ridiculous to read from you that Peter Obi doesn't want people to criticize him. That is far from the truth and malicious in content and reality.

You equally asked how he was threatened. Well, it is easy to feign nonchalant about people words, especially those close to you and those you're dying to give maximum support to. My brother, this is what Mr. Felix Morka said, "Peter Obi has crossed the line so many times and has it coming to him whatever he gets".
For a reasonable person to have said someone has crossed the red line, is it not proper for such person to have reeled out areas the person had crossed the line as he opined. Security wise he is telling his supporters to attack him and probably unlife him if necessary. The bigger question now is, is he to determined who has crossed the red line or not? Again he ignorantly said someone has crossed red line but refused to mention even one word he said to have made him crossed the red line and from the tone of his words he said he has been crossing red lines, meaning he has been crossing red line for long and he could not pin point areas and words that made him crossed the red line.

One thing I realised about APC and their supporters is this, they have forgotten their past and they are not ready to tolerate what they themselves gave to others. The same APC that were so ferocious, crude and like wildwind when they were in opposition. The same party that their members at different instances say they are going to form parallel government if they didn't win 2015 presidential election. The same party that threw out so many uncoordinated words to unseat the ruling party then. You now ask yourself, if they have forgotten their past. Well, in Yoruba parlance, they often say, "the person that passed feces will easily forget while the person that packed it will forever remember". They have forgotten their past and it is dangerous to have forgotten so soon. If the oppositions are giving them the measure they ditched out, they would not be able to govern peacefully but the crop of oppositions will have now, are so gentle and mild in their approaches.

I have these words for APC. Don't give what you cannot take next time. Opposition to me have not done anything silly to the measure they gave when they were in opposition.

One thing I also discovered from APC is this, they don't want challenge, they want everything free ride and don't want anyone to question them. As they give they want everything to be swallow hook line and sinker. But they have forgotten we are in a democracy, every business of government would be scrutinized whether they like or not. They are the one to development thick skin and not the other way round. As they can't gag opposition voices, it won't work.
