But the supermarket is in Nigeria🇳🇬.
TechCapon:
NAFDAC should leave them alone. The supermarket is not selling their products to Nigerians but to fellow Chinese so if their people are not complaining about it why should we?
It's strictly a Chinese supermarket and there is a lot of Chinese people in Abuja

This your comment is funny. What do you mean by it is strictly a Chinese supermarket?

And why do you think other nationals including Nigerians do not patronise it?

You should commend the regulators for acting swiftly this time.
I mean the supermarket is just to cater to the Chinese people in Nigeria. We're not the target customers

No sane Nigerian dey enter Chinese supermarket to buy groundnut or sachet water not to talk of food or any eatables. Na Chinco dem dey buy and sell for themselves. Them no dey read the label before buying them ne?

The manufacturer of these goods in China would not even know that such items are been sold in foreign countries

Meanwhile, because say 9ja na country, laws must be laws.

I doubt if the supermarket caters for only Chinese nationals chief. But let's assume that is the case, don't forget that the Chinese nationals might have domestic staff (cooks, maids, drivers, etc) that consume the same food made from the expired materials.

You might not know how long the chain can get.

Let's just appreciate the regulators this time. I know they have their lapses but they got it right this time.

Tellmeastory:
''Joke'' for what exactly?

How is Nigeria a joke?

Chinese came here and broke the law, were apprehended, and were shut down.

So how is Nigeria a joke?

Idiot.
Well usually, I won’t bother to respond to foolishness like this but if left unchecked, will begin to sound like a good thing to the fool.

Take your ignorant self through this. If your NAFDAC knew their game right, this products wouldn’t have left the port of entry to begin with. It would’ve been handled there and then.

But then again, the likes of you will continue to celebrate mediocrity and cheer on fellas who do not even do their jobs right because you don’t know any better.

So before you open your mouth wide and begin to spew nonsense, you need to properly equip yourself with facts and reality and not just jump on the bandwagon of low-life misfits to spread your ignorance all over the place, boy!!!

Quite an unfortunate situation.
However, the owners of this very mart are one of the nicest, easygoing Chinese folks you can ever relate with.
You are not serious. The owners should sell it in their country.
