I have great respect for Governor Seyi Makinde. I share many of his values, particularly his stance on not tolerating nonsense from any quarter. When someone makes a mistake, I address it directly. The law must take its course, regardless of who is at fault. Ex-Queen Naomi and Oriyomi Hamza have questions to answer before the law, and no one should allow sentiment to cloud the issue. We are talking about 35 innocent lives lost, just like that! I am confident that Oriyomi Hamza would be the first to speak out and ensure justice was served if he weren't involved in this matter.

This incidence of stampedes in yoruba, Igbo and Hausa land has really exposed the true identity of the 3 main tribes in Nigeria. The Igbos and hausas moved on like nothing happened. The law has been set aside for we-we. But the yorubas are ready to apply the law. No wonder the igbos are calling for Nnamdi Kanu's release despite same person engineered the killing of his own people, while the northerners too have been calling for amnesty for bandits. But you will never see any Yoruba man call for release of igboho or dele farotimi, even though these ones are not causing any insurrection in their region or killing their own people. That just gives us the idea of what each country will look like if they all have their independence.

Immediately after I read about the stampeding, I knew some people might want to link it to ritual. That's backward thinking. Was the Anambra and Abuja stampeding also ritual?

As for the question you asked, the charge is criminal negligence. It was the responsibility of the organizers that the health and safety of those they invited were not compromised.

You should go and look for them and present them to the judge that those are the ones who are supposed to be tried and not the organisers who allowed the crowd to be too much at the entrance and still went ahead to open the gate when it was already too late to be opened instead of telling the guests to go back to their homes.

There was nothing the organizers could do at that point cause the gate was closed and the crowd was trying to break through the gate it was at that point the stampede happened
