Canadian PM Justin Trudeau resigns as party leader

• Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced Monday he intends to step down as the country’s prime minister, leaving office once a new ruling party leader is chosen.

• Canada’s parliament will be suspended until March 24 while a new leader is chosen, he said.

• Trudeau, leader of the Liberal Party for 11 years and prime minister for nine, was facing a mounting set of crises, from Donald Trump’s tariff threats to the resignation of key allies and disastrous opinion polls.

The economic struggles we see in Nigeria is not only in Nigeria. Canadians are going through their own issues, and that is the reason why the Prime Minister announced resgination. It is also the same reason USA voted out Biden/Kamala and went back to Trump. Inflation is real, shops are closing, businesses are struggling and job loss/recession may be imminent.

The economic struggles we see in Nigeria is not only in Nigeria. Canadians are going through their own issues, and that is the reason why the Prime Minister announced resgination. That is not true. You can only speak for yourself. All those Nigerians that paid Millions to japa have also seen good times, or how do you think they were able to afford to Japa? Lots of people are still making millions daily in Nigeria.

Congratulations, Mr. Trudeau, for demonstrating genuine leadership and taking decisive actions for the betterment of your nation. Meanwhile, in the so-called "giant of midgets" we’re stuck with a figurehead who, despite undeniable and overwhelming evidence of catastrophic leadership failure, continues to scheme and deceive. Empty promises pour out—dreams so far-fetched they couldn’t be achieved in a thousand lifetimes, let alone a billion years.
