LordAdam16:I thought any transaction or sale involves a willing buyer and a willing seller?? I think the Greenlanders has made it perfectly clear that the territory is not for sale.. Precedent??🤣🤣🤣 Trump even as POTUS doesn't have the statutory power to initiate a transaction to acquire more lands such moves will have to pass the US Congress.. Since you are taking about precedence, I will advise you read up the alaska sale... You are becoming a dullard each passing day, with your nonsensical conspiracy theories..

Burkina Faso is the fourth trending X item this morning. Apparently, Ibrahim Traore's attendance at Ghana's Mahama Presidency inauguration yesterday, was used as the litmus test for the planned AES bloc's acceptance in Africa. It was a mind-blowing success! Not only was Ibrahim Traore (a coup-installed military head of state) allowed to attend the event on his own conditions which saw him bring his fully kitted security personnel and carrying his personal side-arm, he received the loudest and longest ovation and cheers (of all world leaders gathered) from the crowd of Ghanaian/African citizens gathered to witness the event. Clearly, Africans no longer care about the governance system, so long as good and people oriented leadership is administered💪!! |

Obedience40:😂😂😂😂. I can't stop laughing. This actually reminds me of an election case I attended. The plaintiff counsel accused the defendants of "buying votes". The defendant counsel just stood up and said: "For there to be a buyer, there must be a willing seller." He just challenged the counsel to provide the "seller of votes." Na so the counsel was just dumbfounded and couldn't say anything. Laugh wan kill me that day. On that day, I knew that the plaintiff counsel graduated from Nairaland School Of Law 😂😂 |

The US is a working democracy and Trump might just be a rabble-rouser but you can't say he's wrong, the benefits of such prospects are beyond tempting ( that would explain why the leftist have gone mute) and expedient ( even though not entirely necessary). While the US unlike Russia does not NECESSARILY employ the use of military aggression to further it's interests in most cases, it employs other shady and sly tactics such economic strangulation, sanctions, embargos, color revolution ( The Arab spring ), sponsoring dissidents and rebel groups. However, the US also uses soft power such as economic benefits, More than substantial FDI ( as evidently clear in Taiwan), military aids and the likes. The Russians really need to learn about using this soft powers especially in eastern Europe. Trump started with Panama because he believed they were being cheated, was he right ? When the US wants something, it appears they really know how to get it. The French were the first to attempt to construct the canal in 1880, 34 years later the US did it. The area that became Panama was part of Colombia until the Panamanians revolted, with U.S. support, in 1903. In 1904, the United States and Panama signed a treaty that allowed the United States to build and operate a canal that traversed Panama. Panama only became a country because of the US support, it would have continued to be a part of the Bolivarian Republic of Colombia till this day if not for the US. Today the canal is no longer under the control of the US and US ships have to pay ridiculously high fees just like everyone else. However, I'm certain a non military solutions would come up especially since the canal is experiencing low rainfall lately. I'll probably write on the Greenland and Canadian issue later. |

⚡Germany told Donald Trump on Wednesday that borders must not be changed by force after the US president-elect refused to rule out military action to take control of Greenland, an autonomous territory of Denmark. German government spokesman Steffen Hebestreit said in response to Trump’s remarks Tuesday that “as always, the firm principle applies… that borders must not be moved by force”. |

Mille:👍👍👍 Soldiers are trying, their courage during war is remarkable. The Ukrainian keep shouting "kaza b*tch" looks like the Russian soldier is from ethnic kaza. The Ukrainian soldier said to the Russian "you won, I gave up, just let me die in peace", before he blow himself up he told the Russian soldier to go he doesn't want him to die with him. I weak, it's like Hollywood movie, only that American soldiers don't have this courage |

⚡Panama has insisted that its sovereignty over the Panama Canal is "non-negotiable" after US President-elect Donald Trump refused to rule out military force to seize it. Trump made the remark during a news conference on Tuesday at which he also falsely stated that the Panama Canal was being operated by Chinese soldiers. Panama's Foreign Minister Javier Martínez-Acha responded by saying that "the only hands operating the canal are Panamanian and that is how it is going to stay". |

⚡Russia said Wednesday it had expelled more than 80,000 migrants in 2024, nearly twice as many as in 2023, as the country toughens migration policies after last year’s Crocus City Hall terror attack. More than 140 people were killed in the attack on the conference centre in March, which was allegedly carried out by Tajik nationals and claimed by the Islamic State group. “More than 80,000 migrants and stateless persons were expelled from Russia by court order,” the TASS state news agency reported, citing bailiff services. The number of expulsions in 2023 was 44,200, TASS said. The report did not specify the nationalities of those expelled but most migrants in Russia are labourers from the former Soviet republics of Central Asia. An expulsion order usually means that the person is banned from entering Russia for a period of five years. Raids against migrants have increased since the Crocus attack and officials have toughened anti-migrant rhetoric. |
