Namaster:The nuclear weapons was never their in the first place. Also, I disagree with you that Ukraine is right to want to join NATO. Ukraine should be neutral |

TenQ:what territories are you talking about here? Is it the one the then premier of the USSR Nikita Krushev gifted to Soviet Ukraine? Donbass in it entirety were historically Russian territory. Ukraine never had the launch code to those nukes. It may interest you to know that, Belarus and Kazakhstan both had nukes as part of the Soviet Union. |

Ukraine is a sovereign state and should be able to take decision on whom to associate with moreover when Russia has betrayed Ukraine by annexing Crimea. Nobody should blame Ukraine for attempting to join NATO Who will not want a backup when you have an aggressor and a bully as neighbor. Mr Trump should try to broker peace between Puting and Zelensky and put a stop to an unnecessary war started by the Russia. |

Quelme:The launch code is not as important as the hardware and the technology sir. Launch codes can be bypassed by replacing the electronics. Launch code is to prevent a unilateral launch of the ballistic missile that carries the nukes. There's nothing extra special about it . BTW, every nuclear weapon (especially the tritium core ) has an expiry date and the core has to be reconstituted periodically. Ukraine is well equipped for that Secondly, you make some wild assumptions 1. The only scientists and engineers that developed USSRs nuclear arsenal were just Russians alone 2. The only spys that stole the blueprint of nuclear weapons from Britain were just Russians alone Are these assumptions true? |

TenQ:Read what you just typed and see if it makes any sense. If Texas breaks out from the US and becomes a country. Does it make the US not US? If the US removes it's Nukes from Texas, does it mean the nukes belong to Texas? The US central government controls everything. One state pulling out from the union doesn't change anything. It's the same with Russia. 90% of USSR territory is in Russia. They only had to change name because the USSR (United Soviet Socialist Republic) were no longer united, as the name implies. Russia is the central government. Ukraine and the others were republics. In Russia, republics are the equivalent of states. USA = United States USSR = United Republics Get it now? |

TenQ:Ok. Russia was USSR, USSR was Russia. Remove Russia from USSR, you have nothing of significant left. |

Procashtips:You have Ukraine: the biggest of the breakaway republics You still have many regions that decided to stay in union with Russia till today like Tatarstan, Chechnya, Bashkortostan and several non Russian Oblasts . The current Russia is a federation of several non ethnic Russian people! |

Quelme:It takes a lot of money and political will to do so. Even countries with space programs spend a fortune running the program. I am sure you know that Ukraine have developed their own ballistic missiles (just because of this senseless war). Are you aware that Ukraine also maintains their FOUR nuclear power stations without any help from Russia. |

TenQ:How is Ukraine the biggest of the breakaway republic? BTW, do you know that there were only 3 independent country (recognised/sovereign) in the defunct USSR apart from Russia? There was no Ukraine as an independent country as at then, "Ukraine" then was part and parcel of the Russian empire with Kiev being one of it's capitals You can consult the internet to see for yourself. So the word "republic" used in this context doesn't mean they were sovereign prior to coming into USSR. It was after the dissolution of USSR that most of these countries we have in Europe became an entity/sovereign nation.

Omoejigbahe:That question was answered when Biden met with Putin to avoid the conflict. Biden said Ukraine is a sovereign country and should be free to join NATO if they do desire ... that Russia should not be involved in their destiny. Putin response was that Russia would consider setting up a military base in Cuba. Biden response was that that would be considered a declaration of war. And that was the end of "peaceful negotiations". Ukraine is not a member of NATO ....we need to ask ourselves ...why then is NATO involved in the war? Biden isna warmonger. When Trump takes office ...the funding will be cut ... hopefully that of Israel as well . |

This war is a business module of the arms incorporation in the US… it’s the handiwork of the same old satanic war mongers that have been chocking the world since time immemorial! God knows how much cut of the profits they gave Zelensky to agree to this bloodbath, afterall Ukraine had kept to the peace agreements that excluded it from joining NATO all these years… but he’s a dead man walking now, because the war is about to end, his recruiters may not be happy though, meanwhile Ukraine would come out as the biggest loser ! |

TenQ:I attached a screenshot to what I wrote, I don't understand why you're sending me the above. You can argue with what I attached which was gotten from a verified like. What you're copying and pasting doesnt invalidate nor give credence to whatever narrative you're trying to push. Only 4 countries were independent prior to forming the USSR which my screenshot highlighted, anything else were part and parcel of regions the Russia empire conquered. |

Believeintruth:You will not believe whatever I tell you anyways 1. Russian needed Cremia for the warm port (for their navy). Crimea provides access to the Black Sea, which is crucial for Russian naval operations and trade, especially since Russia's southern coastline lacks significant ports that remain ice-free year-round. 2. Russia wanted to punish Ukraine for fraternising with the West. Ukrainian people rejected the abrupt deal of their President , Viktor Yanukovych who unexpectedly suspended preparations to sign an Association Agreement with the EU, which aimed at closer political and economic ties for FINANCIAL INCENTIVES from Russia. Tell me these is not true I see a greedy bully in Russia You tell me what led to the annexation of Cremia and don't forget to link it with Ukraine wanting to join NATO or the mistreatment of Ethnic Russians! |

Procashtips:I never brought up the issue of countries: I have consistently spoken of Republics within USSR anyone can start his history from any point. Like there was a time Russia didn't exist . One can speak of the era of Kievan Rus' in the 9th century which was around 882 when Prince Oleg united the northern and southern Slavic tribes and establishing Kyiv as the capital. Except you contest the validity of this history! Thus the issue of four independent countries is irrelevant. My list was to show you that irrespective of history or status, Russia was just another republic within the USSR just as Ukraine or Belarus or Azerbaijan or Armenia or Latvia or Moldova. |
