No to loan please.
However, the president should look at ways of harnessing the benefits of the visit to boost our relations especially as it relates to BRICS.

It should be the Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi meets President Tinubu or
Presient Tinubu receives/hosts the Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi
.

Both offices are not equal in international diplomacy. Show some respect to the office of the President. It's the office, not the person there now.

Edit to educate the journalists and others

This is because in diplomatic language, when a head of state (like President Tinubu) meets with a foreign official (like China's Foreign Minister Wang Yi), it is typically stated that the head of state "receives" or "hosts" the official.

The reason you would not say "Chinese Foreign Minister meets President Tinubu" is that "meeting" typically refers to an interaction between two parties of equal rank, whereas in this case, the head of state is the senior figure in the diplomatic encounter.

For more clarity, official press releases and diplomatic reports often phrase such events as:

"The President of Nigeria received the Chinese Foreign Minister..."

"President Tinubu hosted the Chinese Foreign Minister for talks..."

This follows diplomatic protocol where the senior official (head of state) is the one who receives or hosts.

Example from a recent press release:

The Nigerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs or similar governmental sources would likely phrase it as "President Tinubu received [or hosted] Foreign Minister Wang Yi," or sometimes "met with" when it's a more casual diplomatic encounter.
Check the US protocol guide. naptu2 can give you the ones from Nigeria source, I don't have that time for now

Receiving Lines

The most traditional receiving line consists of the host, the guest of honor, the partner or co-host of the host, and the partner of the guest of honor, in that order.  One person from the host’s staff typically facilitates the order and gives instructions to the guest (i.e., please give your name and your spouse’s name upon greeting the host).  The direction that guests enter into the receiving line can vary, but the host should be the first person to receive the guests, followed by the guest of honor.  Announce cards, used in place of nametags, can be used to assist the host in identifying guests.  Depending on the event, a photographer may be requested for candid or posed photos, at the determination of the host.

This is a good development.

I expect President Tinubu to leverage on this visit and attract Chinese capital into our oil and gas sector.

We can't and shouldn't depend on the West alone. We need to diversify and hedge risks.

Also expecting Sergei Lavrov to also come visiting this year.

Wang Yi is not a member or the central committee.

The members of that committee are 7.
They are:
Xi Jinping · Li Qiang · Zhao Leji · Wang Huning · Cai Qi · Ding Xuexiang · Li Xi.

Fraternizing with China is far better than dining with the west which has not benefitted us enough.

The West continues to deny us technology and industrial transfers.

Tinubu is doing well.

did you look critically at the Chinese reaction to him and the way they are looking at him. There is a clear difference between progressive nations and one where citizens shout in praise because they are intoxicated by someone's little wealth.
