POLICE ARRAIGN STELLA NWADIGBO FOR INDECENT TREATMENT OF CHILD

The Lagos State Police Command has arraigned Stella Nwadigbo, aged 45, for indecent treatment and assault of a child.

The suspect, who was arraigned in Magistrate Court 1, Ogba today, January 9, 2025, had been captured in a viral video indecently treating and assaulting a three-year-old pupil of a primary school in Ikorodu area of Lagos State.

Those ibo women are devil incarnate. Those slaps were so brutal it could turn that litle boy into deaf. I sensed some tribal hatred in the woman because the boy he was slapping is a Yoruba boy.

She shud be deported into her enclave in sad East to continue slapping her fellow ibo kids. Nonsense

This will serve as a deterrent to other teachers. I am particularly happy that she wasn't granted bail.

This detention at Kirikiri alone for over one month where she will be served with Stony half-cooked beans, will teach her a lesson she won't forget in her Lifetime.

Igbo women are particularly wicked towards children under their custody.

ThAt cannot be a 3yr old. This issue is being overflogged. There are better ways of correcting such misdemeanour.

The trial should be handled in a professional manner so that it doesn't drag the whole teaching profession into the mud.

Some may even argue that she should be referred to the TRCN first before her trial since it was a case of alleged professional misconduct not an outright criminal case.

Look at her face. Those slaps were just too hard, I flinched each time she slapped the boy. Haba. It is sheer wickedness and it seems to be engrained in this woman for her to think it's normal to hit a child so hard in the name of teaching.

And the boy was so brave, he kept on trying to write, some other kid would have burst into tears after that first slap. This woman should not at all be a teacher.
Re: Police Arraign Stella Nwadigbo For Indecent Treatment Of Child In Lagos by 9jaBloke: 5:26pm On Jan 09, 2025
Good for her and for all the children in her class. She should never be allowed anywhere near children again. The way that little boy bore the slaps, you could tell that he is already used to being physically assaulted cry

Then, those slaps were too heavy to be correctional. She's a very wicked person and should not have been around children in the first place.

The parents of that child should sue the school. It would serve as deterrent to many other teachers yet to be captured on camera.

Not a good excuse. If she don't have passion for teaching, she should look for another job. Someone taught her too.

So she should go the violent way against a the year old for crying out loud?
It's her profession and she should know better.
Most times, the society with people like you are the greatest enablers/supporters of evil like this.
Smh.

This is one of the power of social media...

U don't wanna mess with what it is capable of doing...

Digital age... ✅

The pupil is too small to be treated in that manner...

There are stages to everything, madam...

The slap would always haunt the little child by instilling fear in him, and this is not good for the boy... It is just 3 yr old kid...

Make she go smell some punishment...

So because it's not easy to teach a child, does it give her right to slapped the kid?

the teacher should go to prison.
the other thread I was supporting her cos I went through same back in the 80s and 90s and I am a better person today,
I just got the original video from my cousin and I saw 3 hot slap,
initial video ,what I saw was one slap and I said no big deal, but the full video shows she was brutal.
police should remove their hand and let the school board government school officials to take control and sanction her,
this no be prison case

It's not about passion for teaching. It's about empathy, understanding she's dealing with a child and being patient with them.

Teaching children and adults over 70 is soo frustrating and you need a lot of love for them to keep teaching them even when they keep forgetting what you taught them the last minute.
