Few days ago there was a video of Chief Razaq Okoya’s Kids ( Eleganza ) abusing the Naira and their police orderly was showing in the video . People criticized the video online and pointed out how the boys abused Naira in the presence of a law enforcement agent without them getting arrested like dem Cubana Chief priest and Bobrisky .

Today the police is saying they have arrested and detained the police orderly attached to the boys who was in the video but somehow they are silent about the main culprits ; the billionaire’s sons who actually abused the Naira.

If dem explain Nigeria give u and u understand , then the person no explain well enough .

The police should've just form unlooking because almost everyone knows they are not going to arrest Okoya son when Tinubu is the President for abusing the naira.

Them just throw one of their own under the bus unnecessarily to save face.

I think the major issue here which nobody is willing to address is why was a policeman posted to be the orderly of those boys? We've heard severally how the IGP and even the president at different times ordered the withdrawal of policemen from VIPs , yet we still see policemen attached to these people. The guy in the video is an actual policeman; he's a MOPOL that is attached to the Okoya boys and not a SPY police. The truth is there are several VIPs that still have real police attached to them despite the order by IGP to withdraw their services. There are several real police officers attached to VIPs and any other person that has money to pay for their services.

In fact sometime around 2023 before subsidy was removed and fuel price jumped up ; I learnt there are companies who do car rentals whose cars come with police escort. For as low as 100k, 150k (back then), u can rent a Landcruiser Prado for a whole day and the car will come with a MOPOL that will follow u everywhere u go throughout that day. So, the regular policemen on the road will not stop you for normal stop and search/extortion. Some boys use them for going on dates to impress girls while other use them when going clubbing.

All those their oga go just dey release press statement online and be forming like they are oblivious of all these things.

By the way, I've driven (to and fro) between Lagos/Ibadan and the furthest state in the S/East a few times, and the highest quantity of fuel I've ever used was a full tank and half.

For context, vehicle is a Big Daddy Camry V6, and the factory spec tyres have been swapped for higher tyres with better ground clearance which would negatively impact fuel mileage especially over long distances.

Besides APC would do anything to prove to Nigerians that they're working. Going through those replies you'll agree with me that most of them are paid APC supporters. We see them everyday on nairaland.

Because I can't imagine someone coming online to claim he used 50 liters of Dangote fuel to make 5 trips between Abuja and Lagos. Something is compelling him to make such claims.

Then APC should stop dishing out lies to the public. Tinubu's administration cannot point out on policy that the masses are benefitting from. Just one. Go to Twitter and see the kind of propaganda going on there. If you're not living in Nigeria to know the real state of the economic situation, you might believe them and begin to think that they country is progressing. Since may 29th its been from one lie to the other. Light we don't have, yet we pay more, our roads are bad, insecurity, they added N50 charges for transactions above 10k which in turn made POS agents inceease their charges. now they're talking about increasing call tarrif. I can go on and on.

It's my right as a Nigerian to complain if things are bad because Tinubu lead a protest against Jonathan's administration and criticized him bitterly until he was voted out.

We said the same thing. You refuel twice. 2 tanks. The second refueling which you'll make in delta state would take you to your destination.

The last time I went to the east by road was in 2019. A muscle camry 2011. It was myself and 2 of my cousins making us 3 in the car. We were taking turns in driving until we arrived at our destination.

You can't even use 50 liters to drive from Lagos to Benin let alone to Abuja 5 times.
