Is computer Business still a good option for someone who did the computer training and master it very well with 5yrs experience as an employee.

If I open the business now in 2025, what's the possibility that it'll blow or expand? Do people still need the service in 2025 and in Lagos?

Is it a good investment as I don't know any other business I can do except that. I love tech and everything related to computer. You opinion is highly needed and advice.

Your opinion is highly needed

From my experience, people still patronize the service to date. Although I feel the profits are not worth the stress. Due to the following reasons.

1)Electricity, given the current cost of electricity for Band A - B and the erratic power supply for D - E, electricity cost alone will guzzle your profits.

2)Manpower: I have a friend in this line of business, and he is very good at what he does, but he always complains about the lack of manpower and customers not patronizing him due to delays in job delivery. I spent 4 hours in his shop just to edit a utility bill. The place was very crowded with visibly angry customers who were being delayed. Finding reliable workers to help him has been very difficult due to the ravaging effects of get rich quick syndrome.

Since you love tech in your shoes, I will focus on learning a particular tech skill, then take the freelancing route and create an account on various freelancing platforms. I will also spam for jobs on platforms like Reddit, and Blackhat World.

I will actually do the tech skill stuff, I just need a physical location to stay and build my brand very well. I want to communicate with real people. It pays more when you have a physical office.

It's not just photocopy or printing I want to do, I will add web design to it, t-shirt printing and so on.

I don't know how it's gonna be.

How do you intend to tackle number 2 if power is not an issue for you?

Capital intensive and can burn your fingers if you just want to make money

If I always get customers or always crowded as you said, I will hire or employ 1 or two people to help out. Will that be good? People I can pay till everything balance then will do the necessary arrangements. I know It's hard to get people willing to work diligently, but I will give it a try.

I don't know if I can be opportune to work with you.... am a very disciplined and honest person.... I also skill in graphic design(corel-draw) also into T-shirt prints picture framing too..... though am currently doing my youth services at Ogun State and I will be finishing by March.
