Our politicians should stop focusing on only road, it's because they can easily inflat the contract price to suit their pockets. It's hard for them to allocate billions for computers and other projects that can be easily verified, that's why they focus on road that most people don't an idea about the cost except the professionals.

Road is good, but it should not be the major thing every governor is focusing on

Irrespective of the fact that I dislike his personality. The guy is actually working In Fct. I never new FCT minister could actually work, going by their antecedent of the previous ones

The best FCT Minister so far.
Dey play! For every contract Wike approves, he gets nothing less than 10% from the contract sum. Take it to the bank. Why do you think he is fighting Fubara? It's because of contract. Come to think of it, if his work is just to be approving contracts, anyone can do that. Even a blind and deaf can do it. He has not thought of anything outside the box that we can say it's noble or worth praising. Just filling potholes and approving buildings. We need to start setting the standard high.
Where I am, I will wake up and see that road has been tared and fix. Nobody is campaigning on top that. If anyone does that, na straight resignation

Re: 2025: Abuja To Witness Massive Infrastructural Development — Wike by kevoh(m): 5:58am On Jan 11, 2025
Just more road expansions and flyovers (that we don't need)in the inner city of Abuja. Nothing else! No hospitals, no schools, no public water system, no jobs, no intercity buses, no trams, no street lights etc. Which infrastructure are they talking about?

Wike is yet to reach 10% of what Nasir El rufai did in Abuja. Where are the new hospitals, where are the new districts with infrastructure completed, where are the new schools, the new re recreational gardens and parks. Wike is just doing some roads, that is all i can remember.

Infrastructure development is not only road construction, attend to other areas, like health and others.

Lol. The problem we have in Nigeria is that the leadership bar is too low, so it's ok to encourage anyone doing well.
If he gets the job done and steals 10% personally I don't care. The other FCT ministers I'm sure stole more than 70%. In fact it was like we had no ministers despite the huge budget of the FCT. The unfortunate part is that none of them have been arrested. The other stupid Bala Muhammad is still trying to buy 6 computers for 400million Naira. Imagine the audacity!

Anyway, what Woke has done in a year in Abuja is unprecedented. Which is commendable. I hope he does more. I have been in Abuja for the last ten years and nobody has opened up this town in this short period.

He is a trouble maker, no doubt. But I'd rather have a stupid man that delivers than a quiet thief

Re: 2025: Abuja To Witness Massive Infrastructural Development — Wike by doncartel: 9:17am On Jan 11, 2025
Infrastructure is not only roads. In fact the priority should be 24 hour power supply as far as infrastructure is concerned.

Another infrastructural achievement is to make Abuja the world’s cleanest city. We would need about 1,000 motorized or electric street sweepers for that. And 6 months imprisonment for littering.
