I just got more details too. It is Gbadegesin and Oyomesis led by the Bashorun who sabotaged the process. I am not a fan of Seyi Makinde but from all indications, he has saved Yoruba people from future embarrassment with this decision.

I heard they are frantically trying to get to Tinubu to prevail on Seyi Makinde through Victor Adeleke, a trusted and respected aide of Tinubu in Aso Rock. Adeleke is also said to be from a prominent Oyo family, close to the Gbadegesin family, and a well educated professional who can easily see through the games but he is also a diplomat & may not be willing to take sides. It is really getting interesting.
