So I lost my job December, and I have purposed in my heart never to tell my wife. The reason is because I don't want a situation where I get to regret telling her because of disrespect.

The thing is... I will still be depending on my savings until I get a new job, but I don't want to be staying at home as a jobless man.

So please can you suggest for me the various places where I can go to spend time perhaps from 8am to 5pm daily? I don't want to appear as being jobless to my wife.

Please any suggestions please. I am aware of how the society deal apprehensively to jobless grown men, so please be calculative in your suggestions. Thank you.

In as much as I understand your point, it just makes sense you tell her so that she can adjust her expectations this period to the reality.
A family should have unity of purpose. So, I expect her to support you this period with the necessary encouragements you need.

first of all,tell your wife that you lost your job,it's not a crime .then Instead of depleting your savings while idling away,I will advise you to start a POS business immediately,open it in a busy place, until you get another job or a bigger business.

Tell her so she will understand the current situation you are. While you're applying for other jobs. Get busy, don't be staying at home. You can look for a commercial farmer friend and link up together, you can be going to his farms to gather some knowledge.

Better still, just find a skill you have been willing to acquire and start immediately.

That is where it gets tricky bro. My wife has a job of her own, and she barely ask for money to run the family. We don't have a child yet, so it's just us two. If I tell her now, won't she change her behavior towards me.

When the society is built in a way where a man is told if uou don't have a job, you don't spend big, you don't earn as much as you earn before you won't get respect from your partner it results to this.

Lets assume your job hunt lasted for 3months (ideal situation in developed climes and not developing like ours) , do you have the cash flow to sustain the home as it was before the termination? If yes then you can do so if no then you shouldn't consider that option.

As to where to go during this period , i must be sincere I don't have an idea. It would have been easier if you had a side hustle before now it would have been easier to transition.

In my honest opinion you don't have to go anywhere. Since you still have some savings left with you, you can improve on yourself in your line of Job. Read blog articles, watch YouTube videos podcasts on your line of Job to get better. You don't get stuck on that level you are in right now.

You can improve on yourself and step up higher maybe in your next job application you'll be applying for a higher role than the level you Left off.

I don't know how as a guy you marry a woman you can't communicate with, oga just tell maybe she will even bring an idea of what you do next
