A pregnant woman has reportedly killed her husband’s suspected mistress by setting her on fire in Kubwa, Abuja. Eyes Of Lagos reports,

The incident was shared by a social media user named Biola, who stated that the woman believed the victim was her husband’s side chick, and the woman had visited their home on Christmas Day. The suspect allegedly poured petrol on the victim and set her on fire. The victim was rushed to the National Hospital but sadly died from her injuries.

Biola wrote,

“A pregnant woman in Kubwa poured petrol on a lady she suspected was her husband’s side chick, who had visited them on Christmas Day. The victim was rushed to the hospital but unfortunately passed away from her injuries.

“The crime is murder, and the perpetrator will likely spend the rest of her life in prison. The day you take another human life is the day your own life effectively ends.”

Another netizen, who confirmed the incident, revealed that the victim was buried the following day at Gudu Cemetery in Abuja. He wrote, “I swear this happened on my street. I know both the burner and the burnee. She was buried yesterday at Gudu Cemetery. The heart of man is indeed evil. Over a national issue, you end up killing your fellow woman. I’m glad she got justice because the husband was flaunting the police.”

Many online have condemned the woman’s actions, blaming her for taking such extreme steps.
