Our religion does not involves ritual killings. Just like it was not written in Quran or Bible to use humans for sacrifice, no Ifa Odu or any other African religion explicitly demands human sacrifice.

But in those days, humans are not scared of death. Death, is not regarded as a big deal. When a powerful king dies, many people willingly choose to die with him, apart from those who must die with him.

Therefore, in those days, many divinitors find it convenient to use humans for sacrifice instead of the usual animals. That practice was carried on till today by some people.

Those things they use human sacrifices for can easily be replaced by animals.

But that aside, anything religious is bound to have these types of retarted behaviors. Both Alfa’s, Pastors, and Babalawos are guilty of these. Guess what, they only practice it in Africa because it is already in our blood.


In other parts of the world where human killings for ritual isn’t practiced by their ancestors, they don’t do it (at least not rampant)

It is just a cultural something. But if we are not enshrined in religion, it will fade away. But since we are already enshrined in retarded ways of life, we will port it to any thing that’s introduced to us.

Note that there can never be a god except there is a human to worship. gods don’t make decisions , humans do — the priest of a god do.

Yes, we shouldn't have lofty expectations of them. They preach holiness but they are just human like us and we should try to pray for them and avoid tempting scenarios with them.

You know there are these people who never believe what they preach and constantly do opposite until they are caught, and others who are actually trying to follow God despite temptation but still genuinely failed at resisting. There is no such thing as trying to follow God, it is either they are following or they are not. Some of us sees how difficult is it to follow religion, God or be righteous and we chose to be unbelievers. There are no half way to righteousness, it is either they are or they are not. We can only believe there is a half way if we are not truthful to ourselves atleast. Which is what all these so called pastors are, not honest to themselves.
