I read that this December while Tinubu was around the members of GAC raised the issue of how Obasa has disrespected Sanwoolu and challenged him openly over and over again. You remember the comments he made about he being qualified to become the governor when Sanwoolu went to present the budget? Most people felt those comments were totally unnecessary .

It was a case of Obasa over playing his hand. He also wanted them to sack the LASIEC chairman for reasons best known to him.

They said Tinubu was not happy with him and gave him a tongue lashing in the presence of the GAC members. They said after the meeting Obasa wanted to have a one-on-one talk with Tinubu but unfortunately for him he wasn't granted time alone with Tinubu. couple of GAC members joined the meeting and Obasa was still condemned.

Tinubu concluded the meeting by saying he knew what to do on the matter and would do so when the time comes. I guess this is it.

Bite who? If he pushes too hard he would get recalled before the end of his tenure and that would be it. His best bet is to lay low, serve the rest of his term and afterwards try to rebuild strained relationships like Ambode is doing.

Otherwise, he gets recalled before the end of his term, gets EFCC maul him to shreds and ends up in jail or paying lawyers to keep him out of jail.

The good thing about Asiwaju is that there are no permanent enemies except you make yourself one. There is no future outside of APC or Asiwaju’s structure at the state level in Lagos State

Any threat to Israel is a threat to US national security. Trump is obviously mocking/taunting Bibi, though it won't affect the bilateral relationship between Israel and America.

Still, on face value, he publicized criticism of Netanyahu on Iran.
That's very specific.
All POTUSes reaching back to Carter draw the line at a hot war with Iran.
It's widely known that Iran is the last piece on the MENA chessboard to take out.

It stands to reason that he is under immense pressure to cross the Rubicon and he is far from pleased.
Other POTUSes could punt the Iran question and focus on the others like Libya, Syria, Iraq.

Adejobi claimed that section 99 of the Police Act 2020 makes it an offence for one to refuse to assist a police officer when in danger .

I think the people that drafted that particular law are mad .

Personally I will never ever assist any police officer even if the help is within my reach and at no cost to me. Nigerian police are wicked and useless ; they don’t deserve any help whatsoever .
