I was sacked today at work, this has really made me cried, after all pleading, they said I have to go, but they promised to pay me 2 month salary to sort myself.
I can't stay at home this new year.

Well I will say nothing but the truth here, I work as a security personnel in a Christian organization where I was giving an accomodation too, although my house is not that far from the place, and I do go home on Saturday cos it's my off days and I will return back to work by Monday, since my rent is not due so I go home to do somethings, we are 2 in number that is working there with a woman. Who is a cleaner we all have our rooms, so my colleague travelled for Christmas and I was the only one on group with the cleaner so on Saturday I went home as usual and we have some guys working as a bricklayer In the compound so when I left on Sunday morning before I came back they have stolen something so it was a neighbor next to my work place that called my boss on phone about what happened, and today I was served letter of termination. I pleaded and pleaded all to know avail, tho I know I made a mistake on my own. So they said they will give January and February salary together to sort myself pending when I will get another one...thats what happened.

I feel like crying but there's no water in my eyes.
All I can do is to pray for you and advise.
If you have certificate, try use ya ofc work time to look for other works while you sustain on the salary you get. Best of luck.

It's not your fault abeg. God will bless you with a more better Job. Perhaps you should have dropped your qualifications so that everyone can see and the people that will help will contact you. Wishing you Goodluck. Don't cry over it. Just pray to God for better opportunities.

There is this young man on my contact ,he's an agent and he seems to post related jobs... you can quote me if you are interested in linking you up,but mind you, he's never gonna link you with any employer without paying he's reg_fee.
But you will definitely see he's updates for available jobs till you find what you are capable of doing

You're at fault. Take it as a lesson, dust yourself and move on.

Since your second wasn't around and there was no replacement in place, it is your responsibility to cover up for the period and oversee the compound.

You're sacked because they feel you're not competent and diligent with your duties.

You will get another job. Don't worry yourself too much.

People are suffering and it's getting worst everyday, I'm just short of words because i know my daily expenses (basic ones.)

He should be strong and do away with suicidal thoughts, once there is life, there is hope.

Security job and other essential services don't work that way.
The off day issue will work if his colleague was around to cover on that day.
Op shouldn't have left. When the colleague comes back ,the op can have extra days off.

Even that colleague self ought to have come back. Xmas and New Year don finish tey tey na.
