Fashola started that road
Not started. He finished it too.

We've been using the road since Buhari's time. They never just got to the tolling part until now.

Minister of Interior is working too.

That man has used technology to tackle the bureaucratic inefficiency that Buhari and Aregbesola created in the passport office.
Abeg provide tangible evidence not grammar. Someone that does not know how to use computer.

He doesn't have to know to use a computer; he hired the right experts to transform the passport application process. Before he came in, it was mostly a manual process where immigration officers were scamming people.

Now, all you have to do is apply online and track the status of your passport. A friend got hers recently. Learn to appreciate people who are working because he can become a minister and keep looting money for 4 years and nothing will happen.

A construction company, China Harbour Engineering Company Nigeria Limited has announced that cashless tolling system will commence on the Keffi-Akwanga-Lafia-Markurdi express way on Thursday, the 16th of January, 2025.

The system which follows Infrastructure Concession Regulatory Commission (ICRC) guidelines for Public-Private Partnerships in the country, signifies the begining of the operations and maintenance of the road
to ensure a sustainable of road network in the country.

In a statement made available to Blueprint Sunday in Abuja, the construction firm said: “The cashless tolling system is a strategic programme under the Highway Development and Management Initiative (HDMI), aimed at promoting a strong and sustainable transportation ecosystem.

“Tolls collected will go towards funding road maintenance, rescue services, improved security services, rest areas, and more. With cashless Tolling , payments are guaranteed to be accounted for.”

The statement advised motorists to get their “E-tags at the Toll plazas or Touch n Go cards at the Toll plazas, Trailer Parks, Garages and POS operators all along the expressway. They can also just pull up with POS cards and experience a new dimension in tolling.”

The expressway is built under the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction–Finance (EPC+F) model.

Babatunde Raji-Fasola started and largely completed that road (the Keffi-Akwanga-Lafia-Markurdi express way) when he was the Minister of Works and Housing NOT David Umahi. Credit must be properly given to whom it is due.
