Former First Lady Michelle Obama has decided to skip the inauguration of President-elect Donald Trump, making it the second high-profile event she has missed in two weeks. Her absence follows her non-attendance at the state funeral for former President Jimmy Carter, where many noticed her absence.

While former Presidents Barack Obama, Bill Clinton, and George W. Bush, along with former First Ladies Laura Bush and Hillary Clinton, will be present at the inauguration, Michelle Obama will not attend.
