Nononsense
@NoNonsensezone
TRAVEL START SAGA !!!!

LIKE I ALWAYS SAY, “when we keep talking about it,” someone will eventually clean it up.

When
@TravelstartNG
contacted me about the discrepancies on their website regarding my viral post about them, they requested that I take it down after they make changes. Indeed, they reverted the Ibadan language back to “Yoruba,” but they left the Lagos language as “Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa.”

So, I responded and asked them to keep only the Yoruba & English language for Lagos, as it is a Yoruba land. I suggested if they could leave the Enugu language as “Igbo, English.”

Lagos should only be “Yoruba and English.”

On that note, they have revised the Lagos language to “Yoruba, English.”

Now that they have corrected themselves, I will be pulling down the post I made to call them out, just to uphold my end of the bargain. We will also be keeping an eye on other websites like them.

Travelstart Kindly ensure your staff are in check to avoid making such drastic mistakes in the future.

Thanks to every comrades that stepped on this to call their attention to this ..

WHEN YOU SEE SOMETHING , SAY SOMETHING

Travel start initially had the cities and their languages typed incorrectly.

Benin city had English, Hausa, and Igbo as local languages.

Ibadan had English, Igbo, and Yoruba as local languages.

Abuja had English, Hausa, and Igbo as local languages.

Lagos had English, Pidgin, Yoruba, Igbo, and Hausa as local languages.

Using Enugu as a reference, was it really necessary?
Abi I no understand that statement.

Nice to have corrected them, but why the Enugu reference?

Benin City had what?!

Maybe the person only went to Lagos Street and Misson Road.

Rubbish.

Lagos should be English, pidgin and Yoruba only

Yoruba and English aren’t the only languages spoken in Lagos.

Real indigenous Lagosians have two native tongues. Awori and egun.

LTV which is official Lagos television airs news in Egun Yoruba and English languages.

we will change it

Igbos don't understand d meaning of liberal, they see your liberalism as stupidity

As cosmopolitan as Kano is, can any Igbo dare call it no man's land

The best language Igbos understand is violence

Since the northerners dealt with them then they haven't passed their boundaries n u can see how they respect d northerners more than yorubas

Yorubas have to give them better violence so they can back off

Bikonu oga, mo bá wọn bẹẹbẹẹ.

It is a small minority of pained Obidients that are being silly on here, I am certain that Ndigbo's in real life dislike them too, well the ones I interact with.

Igbo's are eyeing your properties? What the fk is that bro? Between the yorubas and Igbo's who hv the most properties scattered around lagos...?

Igbo's doesn't own Lagos, but if your likes keeps calling us migrants because y'all feel inferior, hate, and jealousy because of our successes, then we'll never stop addressing lagos as a "no man's land"..

The ball is in your court, if you respect us, we'll do the same.. No hard feelings!

Then again, blame awolowo that brought us back to Nigeria....

Iemme repeat again, if that term "no man's land" is vexing you and your likes, kindly mind your business when it comes to anything that concerns Ndigbo, we'd do same...
God bless you bro!

We can't or rather we don't call kano or anywhere in the North "no man's land" because they're not stupid and hate filled like the yorubas.

The Hausas are more liberal than any tribe in Nigeria, they don't backstab like the yorubas everybody in the country knows that...

The only problem the north have is their religion.

So stop the comparison.

Lagos is Yorubaland. If you don’t like it, go and hug a transformer

Lagos will continue to welcome everyone (Nigerian or not) that is interested in its progress and will provide the platform for them to thrive

The announcements on our trains and buses are done in English and Yoruba

Our streets and neighborhoods are Yoruba names and Lagos will continue to thrive no matter how much hate you have for it

You have done well OP.. may joy locate you and your loved ones.

Travelstart team must be mad to have included Igbo and Hausa as part of indigenous languages in Yorubaland.. what point are they trying to make? that Yorubaland is no man's land or what?.

We must correct all these false narratives and impressions about Yoruba race.. we are proud of our identity and heritage.

I understand you are going back and forth with that guy but to call Ndi Hausa Liberal and not hate filled, particularly against Ndigbo, that is strange.

Not all of them are bad of course, same as Ndi Yoruba.

Anyway, make una continue una gbas gbos, thankfully in real life, Ndigbo and Ndi Yoruba are more respectful of themselves.
