The president should never control the security system of a state. It’s because we’re used to the illegality in our system that’s why we think the president can dictate what the security of a state should be. The governors have been rendered useless in terms of security that’s why most of them don’t know their jobs including Peter obi that you mentioned.
All the police commissioners, military and all Heads of paramilitary forces in each states must answer to the state governor. But corruption and abuse of power is why we don’t know what our constitution says about it.
