Timi made a mistake. He is greater than that emir. The politics of that place was schemed to cover up a lot. Look at the sitting position of that palace. A times it's only when governors or presidents visit that they give additional chairs to visitors. It's possible there was nowhere that Ede king would sit. Isn't that him squatting in the floor like ordinary chiefs or ordinary people?
The design of sitting at events matters a lot.
Yorubas have a beautiful region and should protect their region, culture and belief. This comes first before religion, visitor or politics.

Timi of Ede did not only disgraced Ede people, but disgraced the entire Yoruba people for this action. He is a disgrace to Yoruba race. This is unfortunate because Ede is even senior Ilorin according to the history. How can he bring himself low by kneeling for Gambari Emir. Ilorin people with stupid pride. When you meet them, first thing they will struggle to know is your age. Very crude and arrogant people. Even if Emir is very aged, Timi should have used wisdom, not because of their relationship or himself, but because of the pride of Yoruba race. He was just a crude lecturer at Osun State Poly, Iree, before he was selected luckily. Idiotic man
