People work very hard to be rich and you believe they are evil for being rich? The most wicked are the poor people.

And another reason is that they are very very bad and evil people who have done unspeakable things and it appears that they have gotten away with it

And people think that they are good normal people as they portray to the the world

But they know that having children will expose and disgrace them, so they are dodging it.

Honestly , they are very smart people who want to enjoy their lives. I put in lots of hours raizing kids but there is no guarantee they will be there for me when I need them. If I do it again, I will marry very late after enjoying my life and have only one child.

My street is a kind of vip close with security and all. A street filled with high income earners.

The street after ours is the opposite, it's rural, noisy and you get where I'm driving at.

No one under the age of 30 has given birth in my street including females.
This is a stark contrast to the one after ours. Teenage pregnancy is rampant, childbirth out of wedlock, baby mama baby daddy ish.

Why is this so? It's not just about being rich, it's the fact we're well aware of the responsibilities that comes with childbirth. It's not a joke.
Many couples are struggling today because of one silly mistake.

My friends from the other street, most of have given birth, I'm older than some. They advise me to give birth and not worry that God will take control.

The rich and successful people are busy thinking of ways to grow in every aspect of their life. Poor people mind and thoughts are clouded with big yansh, big breast and sex- sex - sex all the time (reason they born plenty). Now you know why they are poor.

I dont think there's a direct link between being rich and the choice of the number of children people want

Super wealthy people in Saudi have large families

Some times, they consider their marriage not to be stable enough to raise kids because they don't want to subject their kids to trauma of broken homes.

To them, no point bringing a soul into this perilous life, if they cannot guarantee a happy & successful life for the child.

In oversease society and among the rich, incomes have risen to the point where people can now live comfortably...and even when they retire they still have a safety net (even the USA where people complain the government is not doing enough for retirees still has social security and medicaid for the elderly IF ALL else fails. And there are Americans who retire to third world countries and live on their pensions like royalty thanks to the almighty dollar). So, you can live sans kids, and no wahala

YOU CANNOT DO THAT IN NIGERIA. Safety nets for the elderly are non existent. Even if you are rich in NIgeria, the political and economic instability self can knock you down to poverty tomorrow. That is why we have children, YES...even those who would rather be childless...because THEY ARE YOUR EFFING SAFETY NET. Your pension. The more the better.

Rich don't have the time to raise kids, some barely have time for their hubbies.

Why are poor people worried about rich people decisions especially when they are personal decisions.

Birthing and raising kids takes a huge chunk of every man and woman's time and life.

It takes serious sacrifice and commitment to be a parent whether you are wealthy or wretched.

While there are rich people not desirous of parenting, there are also poor people with the same mindset and goal... Yes, it's just a mindset.


For me, parenting shouldn't be a compulsion or done out of peer pressure, same as marriage.

If you are not mentally, emotionally and financially equipped for it, then it makes sense to choose contraception.
