I need to get an affordable phone yet with good specifications. Kindly suggest a good android phone I can get for the above price.

Let me sell my Infinix Hot 40i to you. 128 GB 4+4GB RAM. 5000 MAH. 4G. Follow-come charger, receipt and everything in tact. I bought it in May last year.

Reason for selling: Sapa

New ones are sold up to 200k. My price is 150k, or I reduce it a little for you.

Please whatever you decide to buy, don't go for Infinix, Tecno and Itel regardless of the padded specs they claim to be made of.

I bought an infinix hot 30i in July 2023 for 90k and it still serves me well

You can't never get true answer from nairaland about buying phones... Lot's of phone marketers and people with inferiority complex... Telling someone don't buy Infinix, itel, techno blah blah blah, while you're using badly used 2015 Samsung/iphone phones or using transition phone yourself trying to act rich here. Corruption and hypocrisy in Nigeria is really scary

Phone is based on use. Some people, the only use of their phone is social media and SOCIAL STATUS (keeping up with the Joneses and belonging to a group).

So OP should examine their need and find what works for them. Me I go with iTel any day any time (partly due to battery but also due to PRICE that match functionality). My current iTel I bought February last year for about ₦70 and if I remove the screen protector, I am sure it can be resold as fairly used. If it was an iPhone now, some youths would thankfully buy (after am done using it) and then brag about owning an iPhone.

Due to inflation (and without exaggeration) a ₦100k phone is a basic phone that would sell for ₦30k some 5 years ago. So ignore price and read the body of the phone. Battery capacity, size (if I wanted a giant phone, I would buy a tablet so I prefer smaller phones), 5G, 4G, or 3G (depending of what works fastest in your specific area), then price. If possible only reviews about the phone.

Look for someone that can sell you Xiaomi redmi not 10 pro or redmi 12s they are machines you will thank me later if you see them to buy for that amount.
