The most reckless sets of road users I know are heavy duty vehicle drivers, they don't care about other road users because they know if anything happens they are 99 % safe.

Wickedness of the highest order. So what now happens to the driver for negligence and man slaughter. They always end up begging the family with #150,000. Rest in peace

It is in Nigeria you'll see someone who doesn't know how to drive will be given driver's license. It is in Nigeria you'll see people about to embark on travel and be praying make dem no get accident on the road. Almost 80% of drivers on Nigeria road are not qualified to drive on the road. In the UK, before you are qualified to drive, you'll have to take theory test and practical which you must pass before you can drive. Most of the accidents in Nigeria are avoidable had it been FRSC are on top of their jobs and implementing reforms to meet global standards. How many roads in Nigeria has traffic signs and indicators to guide drivers on the highway.

Being poor in Nigeria feels like a crime. I’ve never heard of such accidents happening where the wealthy live. As if poverty isn’t hardship enough, the most devastating misfortunes still seem to target the poor.

Break failure shouldn't be an excuse. Why was the truck no properly inspected before being road bound.

The driver was obviously sleeping and not brake failure.

Whoever wrote this must be very disrespectful! How dare you belittle your parents this way? May God touch your mind to repent and give honour to the people who brought you to this world and cared for you. Remember respect to one's parents is the only commandment that promises a reward of long life.
