Tinubu has opened the door for splitting Nigeria. VAT sharing formular is the only issue we are worriwd about presently, and this can split Nigeria peacefully. I am sure that Lagos, PH, and other productive states don't align with this. The issue here is that most productive states will want minimum of 50% derivative and population will be scrapped or reduced. While parasite states want more VAT because they have many unproductive useless citizens they use to win elections but are nuisance to helping the economy and GDP.

we need to find a way to tax the population. Probably demand each governor to remit a fixed amount for sharing calculated based on their assumed population. We don't want to know if the population is fake or not

You totally summarized why this recommendation disgusts me. They want us to reward their lack of innovation to raise revenue and consumption, their useless and unproductive population and diabolical sense of entitlement to the resources of a productive few in Nigeria.
