Recently, I made some comments on a post correcting another nairalander about his assumptions on Nzeogwu's origins, his father, etc. I made them in good faith, without thinking about tribal things (and the corrections I made do not change the fact that Nzeogwu did overthrow the government of Nigeria in 1966). First comment quoting me accused me, in essence , of arguing for an Igbo agenda.

Even economic discussions turn into tribal war. Crime pages too...tribal war.
At the end, it isn't worth having discussions at all here.

Those with good number of years on this forum sometimes knows who to respond to or quote on a serious issue. Others are trolls deliberately provoking fragile minds. In the end no Victor, no vanquish. The threads and drags die naturally.

Meanwhile, even northerners are now joining the fray. They always have anyways. Check names like Typing aka almaiga, yarimo, educationalserv,ArewaFirstSon, Heaven1stson etc. They are northern users who engage in bigotry as well
Yoruba and Igbo make up the majority of SM users which is why they seem like the main culprits. Even Edo have been on it for a while
