Was Ukraine originally occupied before the war?. Your comparison does not apply. Westbank and Gaza was directly or indirectly being controlled by Israel and according to international law, they have the right to resist. What happened in Ukraine is completely different. Ukraine was not occupied by Russia before the war and have no reason to attack Russia. As at now, due to Russias current occupation of the Lahansk territory, whatever Ukraine does to Russia is Justified. Everyone however ignores this bit when it comes to Palestinians and continue to ignore this situation in the case of the Palestinians.
