You will think they are naturally good people who are given to Philanthropy, not knowing they are worse than the devil.

With the US made ATACMS long range missiles supplied to Kiev hitting Russian territory, Russia won't hesitate to send long range missiles that can hit US mainland to Iran in case Washington decide to invade Iran. Not like Iran don't have such capability, but it will be a revenge mission for Moscow.

You'd read in my response to Dayo that another disadvantage of the single payer system is the abuse of care because it is free. Another, like in your case, haste to care which leads to misdiagnoses because your providers (physicians) have a long waitlist of patients they have to see each day.

Truth is, there are way too many critical uncontrollable (aging, immigration, economy, public health) factors putting pressure on the single payer system.

Alot of carers died during covid, the older care workers also quit in large numbers. The sector needed people, and it never appealed to people due to low pay and being perceived as butt cleaning jobs, in the 90's even early 2000's lots of illegal immigrants would work in that sector just like doing cleaning jobs before regularising their documents . The Cos path to being legal and being able to come with your family was a game changer for many...

i suspect most of these operations are unauthorised and are really shakedowns of suspected yahoo boys.

in the abroad it is drug dealers who are raided with force because they are usually armed. white collar criminals are typically not armed. the whole thing is imho about intimidation via shock and awe.

My old dad used some of his parenthood pension to tear Lexus Es350 some three years ago, he bought it and agreed to the wheel spraying and tinting. Police, Customs o infact any and every single law enforcement organization don stop the car at one point or the other trying to shake down the owner, when dem see say na Baba Soja dem go weak. The harassment became too much the man hardly drives the car anymore now sef, I think he must have sold it or given it away because I didn't see it last time I traveled. The profiling and harassment is just too too much smh

That’s the problem , they always profile people once u drive exotic car u are a fraudster until they shake u up and can’t find any evidence .

Even when get shake u up and don’t find evidence , they won’t even apologize , they act as if u should understand that all Nigerians are criminals so if u are not one that’s ur headache . 🤦‍♂️

That was how one stupid police man stopped me recently and was asking for different vehicle papers , I just carry the whole documents in a bunch and handed it over to him. He spent a lot of time going through it one after the other , only for him to see everything is in order . He was sha looking the car and trying to look for something to extort me ; he now asked if it was my car or someone else’s.

I just didn’t answer him but instead showed him my ID card. When he saw it, he now said ; “Sorry sir, u can go sir “ . I’m sure if it was in the night he will look for something to sha hold me
